Starting a new grow!!!
Hi, having the beans i couldn't resist start a new grow. I would appreciate if i have some answers-suggestions and thanks in advance.
I have 2 grapes and 2 cinnamon under a 430 watt son agro which is 60 cm away from the plants. The plants are 11 days old and now developing the 4th node(7pair leaves). Is it time to move my lamp closer to the plants ? The temps are 25-30C(i can control it) and the humidity a bit low 40-50% (i can't control this) but the plants don't seem to have a problem (some leaves are curling like the one in the photo, temps humidity or what else?) . I always grew tree style but with those plants i think i will have to top them or train them. So my plan is to top the 2 grapes and tie down the 2 cinnamons(i will veg for 4-5 weeks). In which node should i top the grapes?(thinking of topping twice) The photo is from previous grow, but the problem is similar, maybe a little bit worse. when i will borrow a cam i will post some pics... |

I had some little problems with slow growing and some yellow leaves at the bottom of the plants the previous week, maybe a p.h problem. I can't be sure as i don't have a p.h meter, but anyway things are getting better now. I would like to know what do you think the problem was as it is a problem that i had in other grows too. Can this be due to very rich soil? (using allmix and the problem was worse after the transplant)
Few more days to fully recover and i am gonna flower the ladies(there are already female preflowers). I topped the 2 grapes at the 5th-6th node and i have almost 10 tops at the same height. Cinnamons are very indica looking untill now but i expect them to be very tall plants. I have only use biogrow once,at my last grows the plants don't seem to have a great need of feeding during vegging, seems that the soil covers their needs. I will give some good nitrogen doses just before the flowering. Happy growing to everyone... ![]() |

lookin good, if that grapefruit is the skinny sativa pheno (skinny branches and leaves) get ready for some serious stretching!! i started flower at 10" and topped and it still reached 3.5-4 feet! But you wont be dissapointed in the smoke by any means, i let my grapefruit go 9 weeks for a 50/50 mix of trike heads, and let me tell u its worth it (my buddy harvested his sativa gf at 8 weeks and its lacking the cerebral soar that mine has)

Hi sneaky, it is not the first time i go with these strains, but the first time i let them veg for so long, i am afraid i will have to give a fight with those tall sativas. But it is worth it, i am sure!!!. I use to tie the tall plants in couples so that their main stems make a x, and then i tie down the top of each plant with the stem (at the bottom) of the other ( hope to be understood). Thats the way i will go with the 2 cinnamons.
I have 2 phenos of grapefruit, the skinny one you describer and one more fat, less sativa pheno. Grapefruits are already 45 cm , i may left them go for too long. Both strains are very nice smoke, look that gp bud from my previous grow!!! |

Cinnamon is a very potent strain, the smoke has a heavy (tea like) taste i liked a lot. You can easily get paranoid with this one, and we talk for a very long lasting effect (balanced stoned-high, and a little trippy). It stretches alot but generally was easy to grow, like every other strain from female seeds. Worth a try for sure.

Nice looking girls you got there, sahima.
Looking forward to seeing how they turn out. got 2 gf and one ww at day 45 right now. One of the gf is indica dom, the other sativa dom but they both have a similar mango/funky mango smell. I've rubbed a couple of the lower buds that aren't getting any light and this gives off a great sugary flavor reminiscent of grape flinstone vitamins. cannot wait to get this stuff cured and into a bong. Keep the updates coming.

Does grape actually taste like grapes?
