any suggestions? I do alot of hiking through brush, and always come back covered with hitchhikers.

Would synthetics be better than cotton for this?

Awesome! Not a single hitchhiker this past season.

You can also get permethrin spray for your clothes. Lasts like 40 days. Stuff is wonderful!

I did a combo of the 2 and I'll be doing the same next year. No lyme disease for me!

I wore out my old military fatigues out in the woods. Not much stuck to those.
