Nice man ^^, you try fishing right on the shores, did it a few times, caught some sandfleas and used those as bait, tore it up I tell ya !!. I think the fish are called pompino, something along those lines, probably mispelt, beautiful fish, was going to mount one because of the colors , exc. but ate it instead. It was so good, but Id say the best fish imo are some bass right around 1lb or less in weight, crappie, heard the fella up top talk about catching some crappie, they are soo good to eat, I like em fried too, nothing like some fresh fish being gutted, filleted up, breaded, and fried all in the same night.
Lets go fishing !!.

Florida inshore saltwater fisherman here. Pompano are quite tasty....and they usually come in droves. I'm more into stalking fish on the flats such as redfish, seatrout, snook, tarpon ect.... I love it. Just purchased a nice flats skiff to get it done in. Nothing like early, quiet mornings with all the wildlife. Wish i was out on it right now.

Im not an experienced ocean angler by any means, but we were fishing on the shorline, drinking beer, couldnt smoke
, having a good time, and didnt expect to catch anything, just got really lucky catching those pompano's, when I did, people were watching and said they were hard to catch or something.. it was nice. I wish I was out there right now too, nothing like good memories to put us in that place

Another Florida inshore fisherman here. I love surf fishing at night. We catch Snappers, Pompano, Permit, Specks, Tarpon, Grouper, Snook, Sharks, and when the shrimp are running, we net those too.

I haven't been fishing in just over 3 years, always loved going though. I'm more into fishing on quiet lakes myself, nice calm course fishing with a J in hand in the summer is the most relaxing thing i've ever done. This year i've definately got to get back to that experience, i've let too much stressy stuff get in the way :-D
