Everybody Needs A Hobby of the Day: Human flying squirrel Jeb Corliss (previously) recently accomplished another one of his crazy goals: Jumping out of a helicopter 6,000 feet over Tianmen Shan (Heaven’s Gate Mountain) near Zhangjiajie, China, and threading himself through Tianmen Cave — a hole that formed naturally in the mountain. This was Corliss’s second attempt, having experienced technical difficulties the first time around. “That was one of the greatest wingsuit flights of my entire life,” Corliss said after landing. And if ever there was a man who knew a thing or two about great wingsuit flights, Corliss would be he. |
