Blubonic: Harvested and Trimmed
Hi all,
Thought I would stop by and share a pic of a nice Blubonic bud I harvested and trimmed last night. I grew a few of these to fill in the spaces in my last run. Very easy to grow; grown with FloraNova, Liquid KoolBloom and Floralicious Plus. Two weeks of flush at the end with FloraKleen. I had no problems what so ever. I know there's been some talk of these being finicky but the few I grew were all a breeze to grow. This particular plant ended with a sickly sweet smell with a blueberry undertone. Can't wait to see how that extends to the flavor after a nice cure. I'll post a smoke report after the cure. Over all I'm very impressed and plan on a much more involved run in the future in order to select some Blueberry beauties!

Thanks for sharing. Blubonic is next on my dance card.
Was this grown hydro or soil? |

whatsupdoc: hydro flood and drain in hydroton. Grew along with my apollo 11 f4's with no problems, they have very similar harvest times and apparently similar requirements. The few blubonics I grew showed no signs of nutrient sensitivity at all. I usually push kool bloom fairly hard before flush with the Apollo 11's because I know what I can do with them (I've been growing and inline breeding them for over a decade). I was very surprised the blubonics just took it in stride given the blueberry background. Hope you're looking for something sweet because these are almost sickeningly sweet. Thanks for stopping by.

Thanks man! Good to know that she's not nearly as finicky as some folks describe.
The wife will be happy to know that the sweet stuff is on the way. If you have a chance to give a quick smoke report, once it's dried and cured, I'd appreciate it. K+. |

Very nice man. Getting ready to rock 3k with a pheno of her that looks a bit similar.

Buddy of mine has my real keeper from the line. I'm taking a chance with this cut of her because she was the only mom big enough to make the cuts. His will hit 6ft in a month and a half, throws massive, dense, purple pinecone buds that put a grin on your face that just can't be matched. Reek of Blueberry preserves too. It's like a really heady Blueberry, you just can't stop grinning like a fool and stuffing your face. |

Well, now that I have 4 of 5 sprouted and growing (keeping my fingers crossed on my last holdout seed), I'll know first hand.

Meh
3 males, 1 mutant, and 1 girl. Comparing it to the Mandalas I have in my cab, I'm not overly impressed. I'll withhold final judgement until I run the girl.
