thought it would be very helpful for medical users who have trouble traveling long distances and cant really fly on planes due to the fact they cant use their medication on the airline. some may already have known this and some have probably already done it like me, but some people really need to know about it. hopefully those who dont read this.

if you have your card and are able to book a flight through west jet airlines, you can call in ahead of time and speak to them about it and if you have the proper credentials and a portable vape like the iolite they will allow you to medicate during the flight and in the airport if needed, i know it really sounds crazy but its true. i know a lot of people like me really need it almost all the time and cant risk going through hours of pain for a flight, so hopefully this gives you more of the urge to get out and travel.

i really wouldnt recommend bringing more than you will need to last the flight, so its best to make sure you have enough to where you can be out when you land.

speaking of iolite the new iolite is really neat. small as a lighter now. so stylish also lol.

I would have to say that's a bunch of shit, why would any airline want to break federal drug laws and act like they give a flying fuck for us or about us taking our meds..

yea thats why im in jail currently and posting from inside my cell as we speak, they have really kicked it up not so bad.. we get computers and get to live like normal people. think before you speak really..

no need to live in such fear for christ sakes, its not going to get you arrested for asking. makes me question why you are so afraid to ask or even believe something like this could never exist.

just like some doctors condone the use of cannabis some dont, why couldnt airlines act the same? there is some hope for god sakes just chill out and try it out before you feel so threatened.. jesus.

I can tell you guys a story just short of this one... one that really did happen to me traveling from one airport to another, from medi state to medi state...

I packed my nugs in box with a printed sheet I had made, explaining that the contents of my box is medical & that I am registered patient in my departing State & that the arriving State is also with medical mj laws... citing both very clearly on the label I had made.

The bag was searched by TSA... an inspection card was right next to my box & the label was slightly torn & smudged... I personally believe it was picked out by a dog... but regardless, it was inspected.

Arrived, got my bag (I checked it in for the flight), and immediately took a look to find my nugs... all of it... just under a half zip.

I'm not suggesting that there is 'policy' to allow for this, but it does suggest policy isn't for TSA to act as DEA agents... and that perhaps they really don't want to fuck with it.

Guess my next trip, I'll try vapin... lol... I hate vaporizers... this is discrimination by the airlines, I tell ya... ;-)

yes med state to med state or med state to med country/state. like i said if you talk to them ahead of time they can really clarify and help you along if you truly really need to be medicated. as with most states and most countries outside of this that support medical cannabis and people properly prescribed so should have no trouble if west jet permits you. im not telling you nothing can happen but its not like you should always be careful anyway, i made it every clear its not meant to be smuggling pounds or ounces over seas or to state to state its just for the trip there and should be kept in mind thats all its for. calling in or checking at the counter and just asking possibly next trip you have planned that you dont really plan on trying this, you can at least just ask them and see what its all about they cant arrest you for suspicion and having nothing on you and just for asking... its not like your asking "hey im a bomb maker for a living, i need bombs to live. you think it would be ok if i could just take this one bomb"

if flying over seas check in at both where youll be landing of course.

i cant promise you every west jet in every legal state thinks the same but it worked for me from colo to cali just fine, the person i talked to also told me if i wanted to go over seas it shouldnt be that much different either if i check in with both airports and make sure its ok with them. just a tip though make sure whoever you speak to you get their name and information so if they arent there you dont run into any problems and have proof it was properly clarified to you by the airline themselves. i guess youll never know or ever get the chance if you just dont ask, if you know you arent breaking the law everyday you really should have no need to worry about asking them. it cant hurt.

well i think the main reason they specifically allow vaporizers is because its not something that can give people a second hand high lol, if you smoked on the plane people would be hot boxing the cabin and everyone would be high on the plane whether they liked it or not.

i agree i wouldnt complain but you can see their reasoning as why to vaporizers are getting a little more lenient which i think is great, they dont really smell or bother anyone for them to complain so its nice to see people taking that into consideration.
