2 Finished 2010 Sour Diesel IBL's with PICS
Out of 10 seeds I got 8 males and 2 females.
SD IBL 1Keeper pheno 1k HPS 100% Organic Recycled Soil 3 gal bag 30 day veg 85 days 12/12 FINAL YIELD: 45 grams Comments: I had 2 SD IBL females, this one grew just 1 main stem with minimal side branching. I would have liked to give this one a longer veg but I was in a rush. Out of the 2 females I had this one was the least impressive until the end of flowering then it exploded with dank and ended up better than SD IBL 1. This plant was cut at about 85 days 12/12. I had some trouble with this one first run and Im about to put a clone into flower, I am hoping to really improve next round and hope to get a better yield. SD IBL #2 100% Organic Fox Farm Soil 1 HPS 30 day veg 78 days 12/12 3 gal bag FINAL YIELD: 75 grams Comments: Much better yielder than plant #1, much more leafy. 78 days 12/12, great yield. A little bit of sensitivity to the soil, not much fertilizer needed before leafs claw. I will be running this one a second time, hope to improve results. |

Awesome job man! Those look like super duper chronic for sure. In the pics it looks like they could of even matured longer, but 85 days. Would love to sample those buds, top shelve for sure.

Hey Iron_Lion, ok SD IBL 1 was your keeper and you said in another thread that it was closer to the ECSD clone right? Do you think that SD IBL 2 could have gone 85 days also? I see that it also yielded very well for the time given. Hows the taste on both of these? Give us a great smoke report and take care 1

SD1 Smell: Diesely Taste: Diesely Bag Appeal: I'd say these are some of the dankest buds I've grown High: Hard to explain, all I can say is it is super enjoyable in fact it is some of my favorite smoke right now. High is a good mix of head and body, very chill weed. 1 .5 gram joint gets 2 people nicely stoned. I like this weed so much I find it hard to stop at just 1 joint, I could just keep smoking it. Overall: SD1 has less yield and less branches but bud quality is great. This has an impeccable calyx to leaf ratio much like real ECSD. I was kind of pissed getting skunked with 8 males, but luckily I got this 1 nice female. Im hoping next run with her will shorten the flowering time and give me a more branchy plant. SD2 Smell: less smell than #1, but smells diesely when broken up. Taste: Diesely Bag appeal: Buds are not quite as dank as pheno 1, this could have been because they were grown in different soil mixes. High: Just like SD1, very enjoyable tastey smoke, could smoke on all day. .5 gram joint gets 2 people nicely high. Overall: SD2 had great yields, buds could have been better, a real bitch to trim. I hope a second run I will have less bud leaf because I will be growing it in a really nice recycled soil mix maybe this will make all the difference. This plant had a great yield, 75 grams from a 3 gallon bag maes her worth keeping around. |
