well i came back yesterday i had 2 commons a 26lb and a 33lb i was happy so i gave up . the lake was very hard fishing most of the carp were only feeding on the top witch was inpossable to use top baits as there was 100s of ducks on the lake .

i had my first carp the first night around 1.30am (26lb ) didnt get any photos as it was pissing down and didnt want to get camera wet .

had the 2nd carp 33lb around 4am . rig i used was a snowman pop up . least it wasnt raining so i got a photo .

think so mate lol . he loved the cell boilies lol , realy nice pool but hard to fish loads of ducks and i had to lob out the baits a good 120 meters very hard work over hangging trees in my swim .if u look at the 1st photo i was fishing 2 ft off the lillys in the left hand corner . wish i took the bait boat now would of been loads easyer haha .

Very nice indeed mate you tackle tart lol just priced up what gear i need to start back up and its not cheap 2.5k those rods look sweet btw what did you think to the reels mate are they the infinity brs been looking at the new tribal 10000xta's with the baitrunner spools

yes mate they are the bxs . great reels . i used to have the ShimanoPower Aero 10000 XTA but didnt like the front bait runners on them i lost alot of fish .

yep the rods are great wish i got 3lb test but 2.3/4 will have to do . untill i upgrade next yr for spain .

well jealous, i love fishing but have only been a handfull of times,, i keep watching matt hayes programs to try and learn all i can,, need to buy all the gear,, thanks for sharing cheesey

Hmm lost some fish not had the br spools before are they a pain in the arse to use or just fiddley

yer u only have to turn it like 1cm but that split second doing it is alot . i fish tight lines so they were a pain .
