exodus is an unknown quantity at this point
One of the factors that made OG feel homely..

I've never really bothered to try other forums, because they all irritated me in some way. It really seems to me that the whole OG forum felt optimized for stoner use. Everything was just so well organized, nothing was overly complicated or required a lot of unnecissary reading, just over all very stoner friendly. None of the other growing forums ever seemed quite like that.

That is, what I think took it from a great website to a place you could come and relax but while still learning.

Does anyone else feel this way?

..or even get what the hell I'm trying to say?

I agree 100%. That is a very good way of putting it too. I've been on a ton of forums, and never felt even close to as comfortable as I did at OG. I could navigate that site twice as fast as any other that I have ever been too.

Peace

However, I would not have given you the advice, had I not gotten it myself from experienced growers on this forum and others, and tried it myself. I do not comment on things I haven't done yet. That would be what they call BULLSHIT, and I don't do that. Thank You

Oh yeah, don't forget to......

"The prestige of government has undoubtedly been lowered considerably by the prohibition law. For nothing is more destructive of respect for the government and the law of the land than passing laws which cannot be enforced. It is an open secret that the dangerous increase of crime in this country is closely connected with this."
Albert Einstein, "My First Impression of the U.S.A.", 1921

"Prohibition will work great injury to the cause of temperance. It is a species of intemperance within itself, for it goes beyond the bounds of reason in that it attempts to control a man's appetite by legislation, and makes a crime out of things that are not crimes. A Prohibition law strikes a blow at the very principles upon which our government was founded."
Abraham Lincoln, U.S. President. 18 Dec. 1840

PLEASE don't PM me for seeds or cuts,.. Thank you

yep..

look through the 'OG/CW Refugees' forum and you'll find some posts on how to optimise everything.

i must admit, i'm pretty used to it now plus i've tweaked it a bit with some settings etc. it's quite cool!

if you can't manage to dig up the dead, i'll search and get some links for ya.

peace!

Actually, thier search function was complete shitr and the site was horribly slow unless you sent them money in which case they put your account on the fast server. I was about to send RC a money order for a lifetime membership and now im really glad I didnt!

i hear that, thats why i called it overslow, sometimes you couldn't even log on because the server was so busy.

but i agree too, it was so well organized and the info was easy to find about anything u needed answered or wanted to build. hopefully icmag inherits some of the finer things about OG, i love icmag it would just be cool to get all the new info organized...i'm sure people are working on it now though.

peace

Well, I know we were all used to OG and loved it but I'm not sure that it's coming back (although I'm not sure that it's not, lol) but I think alot of us are being inappreciative of this site and the kind folks that call it home. To me the real resource on OG were the people and if you look around many of them are here or lurking about. I think the way we should repay our hosts hospitality is by doing our best to blend in here and not give the impression that this is some sort of takeover. This is their home and they have opened it up to us, let's all work together to take advantage of the oportunities this avails all of us. We are on the same side people, from some of the threads and bickering going on that might be hard to believe. The anti-pot coalitions would be thrilled to read all the infighting and elitism that has been taking place in our world. Let's show people what stoners are really made of and stand together as strong and united as we can. Who knows maybe in this world of big brother and neo-fascism we are fighting a losing battle, so 1984 is coming a lil late, lol, fuck it I won't give up. They might be able to take me down someday but if they do they fucking do. Everyday for the last 25 years of growing I've thought about prison (although,I might not actually get time being small and insignificant). The way I look at it,if I can't grow then my ass is already in fucking prison, you just can't see the bars. Anyhoo, sorry for the digression. Let's do our best to feel at home and most importantly try not to make the people here feel like their home has been taken over.
peace
