I think Perry Farrel said it best:

All the people I know wanna be left alone
Some people! I don't know?
They wont leave you alone
You gotta be just - be just like them

Biggest gang I know they call the government
Gang is a weapon
That you trade your mind in for
You gotta be just - be just like them

The gang
And the government
No different
The gang
And the government
No different
The gang
And the government
No different
That makes me 1%

This has been going on for so long. I used to be surprised by people's lack of response to outrageous shit like this. I remember the expose' explaining how George Bush, as head of the CIA, basically spearheaded the crack epidemic of the late 80's. It is all documented. Public response? Not much at all. In fact, we elected his dumbest son president not once, but twice.

edit: (in all fairness, we didn't actually vote W. Bush into office)

A reckoning is certainly coming for this country and it's well beyond the scope of cannabis alone. How long will the rest of the world go along with the charade? As long as the money keeps flowing...

i dont find it funny at all, but america is a joke,,,its a slap in the face psychologically (and physically for many) to all good hearted intelligent people worldwide,,,

you cant have new world powers with the old ones still standing,,, this global cabal that has owned the usa since basically day one is ruining how both americans and the rest of the world perceives america,,,its just a big game of chess to them,,

A society that will trade a little liberty for a little order will lose both, and deserve neither

Something I have noticed over time is the busts for such drugs as coke and heroin these days are small time. 9 baggies of this, 2 grams of this. Rarely do I see the kilos or big busts anymore. Weed on the other hand, you see pounds of this, 68 plants of that. Growers with out the support system of organized crime it seems. Double edged sword of a money flow. Anyone else see this as well?

I do not know what is more offensive:
It happened and is documented.... or no one gives a shit enough to do anything about it?

Wait, what could be done really? You want to fight the DOJ,DEA, ATF and CIA directly?
Going to call them out? They are already to the point of not covering it up.
( these aren't the agents your looking for...)<-- deny it and say nope didn't happen that way.

What could anyone really do?
Post in a forum and be outraged... they really give a f*&%(.
Write your representative and get back a form letter?

We allow people to represent us that can not or will not acknowledge the reality of the drug war. The endless injustices, criminal enrichment and violence created by this is not on their lips at all, except to deny our reality. This truly indicates complicity or spinelessness.

How in the world could they really understand something complicated if the failure of the drug war is beyond their analytic ability? At least it is failing in the stated public missions.

Criminals all.

The drug war is accomplishing exactly what it was designed to accomplish.

this article is especially angering when right before it I read an article about the DEA dragging a young girl out of her house half naked in the middle of the night when they were raiding the wrong fucking house. then right before that I read multiple similar stories that also involve shooting little dogs, like corgi's, which are only 30 pounds.

The government gets paid from legal drugs and paid from fighting the illegal (hard to control) ones. The money circle is intact. It's a mistake to think that the drug war was to protect citizens. It's about control of wealth.
