Okay I bought another pack of these Chem Sour D to try and find ones that dont hermie. So far no luck, but I did find one that is a hermie but not dropping pollen. If she doesnt drop pollen She should be safe around my girls. I will clone the hell out of her and stick her in the flower rooms with my safe strains. Anyone have any success stories finding a sterile hermie in this line ?

For what its worth, I am growing a cross of purple kush x rezs chemdog and every single plant showed a few male flowers around the bottom calyxes of each flower. I noticed them around week 4 or 5, They seem to be sterile no seeds at all even though the male flowers were full of pollen.

Chem sour hermies??? I got 2 very straight ladies and 2 males from the half pack I popped, 1 didn't make it. I actually thought it was a very stress tolerant strain, not a nanner to be found at 12 weeks...

Myself I wouldn't trust a plant with herm tendencies in the flowering area.

I had this happen on a couple phenos of Chem DD, which is essentially the same thing as Chemdog Sour - dunno if it they used different mothers. But I had this happen to me on most of the Rez Chem DD phenos. The Alpha Diesel's I grew were fine though, no hermies there.

Yup! The same story here. My Chemdog DD throws some nanners in flower but no pollen. Its 1000000000% sterile

the reason it happens is cus it happens on the chem d cut too, if not fully dialled in. just keep running a pheno that gives the sterile nannas until you got it dialled, then it shouldn't throw any. good luck with it mate.

FWIW, my Chemdog double d lady threw a couple male flowers on the very low budsites the first one or two times i've grown it. Since then i have not seen one on any clone that i have taken. She went from having me a lil scared to being very happy.

male flowers just seem to come with the territory of any cross directly related to the ECSD or ChemD clone. That being said, it's world class pot and deserves the effort in making her feel more comfortable in your garden.

Id say run it a few times and see if the problem doesnt go away entirely!
