Does SD IBL herm easily?

As in....how does it take to bending ect?

Heard that it can be a difficult plant to grow..just wondering if that includes herming to low stress.

I've had much higher temps than I would like this summer, average 85 and they've even been blasted by 90 degrees a few times this summer and no nanners to bee found.

I find the branches become very stiff so best to get the bending done early in flower and make it nice and secure to they hold their shape.

I have a hostile environment and my plants from seed did herm, however I have not had an issue with the resulting clones....and the grass is topshelf..herm or not..

So the clones I cut didn't really herm but at the very bottom of a few of the buds there were ball sacs that I plucked off...

I've seen other plants do that same thing and rarely do those type of male flowers produce seeds but I'll try to remove em as I see em...

They also usually only happen on the lower buds...the ones uptop on my other strains that have done it pretty much go without sacs.

And the SD is at about 3 weeks and covered in trichs already.....can't wait to see this thing finish out...

I got 6 seeds from CD IBL. I never noticed anything. No stress at all and no light leaks. Defently in the genetics of CD IBL. I think SD has the same issue. The buds where still killer.

ya, my chemIBL from the july 2010 drop nannered out, but i stressed the fuck out of it while i vegged it for 3+ months. 14oz/12 seeds. clones from said seed are all female.

my first pack of sourD from the dec 2010 drop threw maybe 2-4 sacs per plant(3 females). no seeds resulted, although i am a firm believer that is because i have been using Dutch Master Reverse. shit is the bomb.

the pack of SDIbl(three girls) that i started flowering 56 days ago(same drop) is nanner-free. one of the phenos IS the ECSD. my first pack had no "perfect" representation of the clone only. this time, bingo. plenty of clones too.

funny, my D*A OgKush S1's both just threw out some early flower sacks, plucked em off. wasnt gonna pop them, but figured i might as well have something to compare with when the kush drop finally happens. gonna throw some clones of bothphenos of OG and the two keeper sours in a few days. hope they will be pure females. i tend to stress out A LOT over plants that herm out, and usually it is all over-reaction.

and to answer the OP's question, i dont believe any LST'ing or topping will cause the SDibl to herm.

Big dif between a nanner or 3 & clusters...

Almost every true elite I've ever had was prone to a few, given cause.

I used to joke that my #1 cut in the 80's, was like a Butterball Turkey...
She'd throw 1 out the top of the main cola when she was done, just like a popup Turkey thermometer!

I've grown out many "elite" strains, and Rez's Sour Diesel, and one other one were the only that ever showed me ball-sacks.

Dutchmaster reverse ftw and then grow whatever you like hermie free and worry free, pluck the balls you may see and Reverse will take care of those u don't

From what I've read the Sour D and Chem lines were originally spawned via plants going hermie so it's bound to pop up in there offspring imo.
