Strain specifics

Hey all I am starting this thread to get some insight from the more experienced of the squad . I have a few Blue Sonja , prophets and ultras , and just popped some sour bub. Do you find that any of these have a smaller range of ph allowance than others . Which ones do you stuff when feeding and which ones do you hold back a little. I have my ultras a-rockin but have a little stall on the prophets and the blue Sonja. Just put them in bigger buckets and all their roots are doin real well. Oh yea I have these in soil. I always go soil from seed in case I find a super mom . I find it easier to keep moms in soil. My ph is usually roun 6.2 . Maybe my ultras are just doin super well and everything else is just at normal speed. But either way I still would love to know your thoughts to give these ladies their due attention. Also please feel free to give any other pointers or tricks that you found to dial yours in better. I know some of you go hydro dwc ect . But that would be appreciated too. I usually go that way from clone .

Mornin' Seedee, I personally feed pretty heavy with damn near everythang I run (1600-1800 ppm), with flushes, weekly. Feed tha SB's a little lighter. I recommend Clearex, I had a crop failure at tha very end, using tha GH flushing product. I run hydro, so a more acidic PH is necessary, but fer yer needs, 6.2 er so is good. If you can, I always recommend goin' HARD into hydro, faster production and personally think tha herb comes out far better.

Folks have asked what I run, here at tha GrindHouse. Dyna-Gro, all day... side by side, same strain, same room, same fuggin' everythang and Dyna blew GH away; speed of growth to finished product, far superior... I try to stay away from organics with hydro, but heavily recommend folks to flush at crops end, with PH'ed water, using EJ Catalyst. It's slightly acidic, so real easy and not much is needed, but tha end results are spectacular. Full flavored herb that tha Catalyst isn't masking, but bringing out tha natural aromas and palette. With hydro, tha EJ makes tha roots go brown, but feel that at tha end, they can afford this condition fer tha benefit of tha end product. I've found flushing with just PH'ed water brings about a bland finish.

Thanks Steele

And you are correct there paladin or even the brazilian swimsuit

yea Steele i have just read about the lucas tech for feeding. leaving it to more or less 2 blends together. i took from that that basically the micronutes + bloom can carry through an entire cycle. Still trying to further my knowledge. i am interested to here you say dyna. i don't see that too much around my way but i will check it out . also i have never had a too good experience with GH but i am sure others may. i am working with botanicare on my hydro and or fox farm on my soil. I have had excellent results with FF but like you said hydro at least for me gets a better bigger more dense flower. i do appreciate your input broth. Feed me the knowledge and i will turn it into the power.

I see a few of you have 6 or 8 lights Rollin along

How do you keep your ladies cool. I know using the reflectors with the 6 or 8 in duct helps but I know I have to use other means.

Hey Steele do you have a preferred co2 level or just shoot for the various companies suggested 1500.

Co2 calculator for anyone who may need it
https://www.hydrofarm.com/co2calc.php

My ultra Sonja loves a big meal . Can I feed my blue Sonja the same way.

Hey Steele,

Can you expand a bit on flushing with EJ Catalyst? Do you flush with it the entire 2+ weeks or just part of the time?
