Spain to England

Sure it's ok...there's plenty to choose from in my albums, especially my macro and seed albums.

Hello everyone.... wishing you all a happy and pleasant weekend!

Have been reviewing lots of pics I took during my recent trip up to England....not sure there's enough content to go along with each image in order to dedicate a new thread for it, so maybe I just drop them in here? Many of them are landscape pics traveling up through the country to reach the northwest coast of Spain. Plus, for security reasons I'd rather not lay out an exact route...so pics would be random.

As you will see....anyone who is really into rock climbing just might find themselves not knowing which one to tackle first.

Weather was excellent....not a cloud in the sky, just beautiful blue and perfect for a road trip.

The lack of scale in this pic makes it difficult to get a true idea of height....but for a rock climber would be a rather nice work out.

Stopped for gasoline and visited with this little guy who was merrily chirping away, not bothered in the least by my presence.

My advice if you are seriously considering a move would be to study up on the Spanish language...unless in a big city like Madrid or Barcelona, English is not widely spoken...and in the Malaga (and south of there) areas might be best to also include a bit of Arabic.

Maybe it's wise to send up a smoke signal (from nice herbs of course) as notification of your pending arrival.

You all are going to regret having said you want to see more of my travel pics....they get more interesting, I swear, .....bear with me....we'll get there.

Here's a few that go from distance to closer view of another rock laden mountain....but shows how well the major roads are maintained, making the drive a smooth one, and how they wind up and down through the hills, valleys, and mountains.

Looks like a well trodden path to the right?

No matter what part of Spain....you're sure to see this VERY big guy peering at you as you top a hill...can have some startling effects after a bit of a toke. Slightly difficult, again, to perhaps visualize the subject's size...but if you look at the top of the tower below him (bottom center of pic) and use that for scale you'll get the idea. We'll call him Senor Torro...and yes, you're likely to see him in some more pics later on. They do love bulls in Spain...we'll get into a bit of that later.

Looks like the round table has been crankin'! Ganoderma, nice to hear from you...can see what you've been up to now. Nice buckets!

When insomnia strikes...I get into my pic sorting mode. Uh oh! Let's see.....where did I leave off. Oh yeah, right...Spain.

Dotting the countryside.....looking eerily futuristic amid the otherwise traditional charm of an old country....massive wind turbines. Even more eerie is an unknown object in the sky caught in one of the pics....can you all see it?

Solar panels...........sure would be nice to have some of these, along with a few of the turbines. I'd be adding a few more watts for sure.
