Hello to all
Ordered ''The Pure'' from FDM and thinking growing it 12/12 from start in my flowering box.
Do you think it can be done? I don't care much about the yield, ~20g per plant would be allright, like a single cola or something.

Please post your suggestions/experience, haven't seen many people grow this strain.

I dont have any experiences with this strain, but i have read a LOT on it cause i am gonna grow it soon. I dont realy have height restriction but still gonna give it real low time of veg cause i want an harvest the sooner possible before i go to my next place. Now for yours question, yes you can grow it 12/12 from start and even if you dont care, you WILL have a very good yield! They can easily grow a single cola plant, yes.

Ive just check yours "My DP's Flo grow" and the setup seems perfect, but i think you can veg a little, like 2-3 weeks or so. The high will be a strong sativa high but not paranoid, not trippy. Its beleived to be a 2/3 sativa high. Anyway good luck, and post result!

Oh and i just finish reading the second page of your DP's grow. The original sam's skunk#1 is ( Colombian Gold x Afghani ) x Acapulco Gold. So its 75% sativa. A stabilised old school three-way hybrid worked for decades now.( almost 30 years, in fact...)

And like the pothead that i am, i forgot to say that BUDGRINDER aleready have done an excellent grow thread on it, AND a smoke report. In fact its this smoke report that convinced me to grow The Pure.

Hey tag,
Yesterday I planted 8 The Pure seeds into cups.
6 of them are going directly into 12/12 under 400w HPS along with 4 FLOs that I have flowering there.
2 of them are going under 140w fluorecents tubes at 24/0 for some LST & veg along with 2 AK-48s.

You can see the grow in my signature's link, I will update all the progress from there

Still haven't any photos from The Pure, but tommorow maybe will pop out from soil

hello

i grow the pure and it's a great plant. my favourite strain. i wondered if you might be able to help. i want to grow a single-cola sog and wondered how to do get just the one cola. do i have to remove all the branches as they appear, just the bottom ones, sideways-pointing ones or what? sorry to barge in and sorry for my ignorance. but not many people talk about this strain, and i love it. i've got some pics of vegging pure plants and can take some of the pure at 18 days flower if you want to see (although i've just hit them with some old superbud, which a lot of people don't like and certainly wouldn't help with 12/12 from germination cos it stops veg growth immediately). if you could help re the pruning for single cola i'd be grateful. good luck mate.
