I will not open a new thread since i find it unnecesary if there's one already open. I hope this post will help any grower out there that's still growing these strain even though it was a limited release and is probably discontinued now.
I would also like to emphasise that it was slightly frustrating for me to decide if i should grow this strain or not due to my space limitations...it was very hard to get any info since Charlie Garcia isn't present on the forums anymore. Kaiki please come back! Still...the guys at the CBG are very responsive...if i sent them a mail in the morning, they replied in the afternoon latest. Sometimes even in a couple of minutes. But their english isnt all that good and its sometimes kind of hard to understand what they mean but they sure did bring a smile to my face a couple of times with their replies ![]() I germinated only one seed at the end of march and in the beginning of may i transplanted a healthy looking plant outside. My medium was soil. It was fertilized with chicken manure and batguano. Growth was very fast. Some of that could also be explained with high dose of N present in the soil. Actualy it was too much N for plant to handle. In the middle of june she started to drop whole branches because they were growing so fast. They were completely hollow inside. I was quite sure i wont see any bud on this plant because it seemed like it will fall apart in a week or two. Later i provided a SCROG net and some additional support from bellow. From there on everything went fine. I watered the plant with rain water only. At the end of july i also added about 4 spoons of extra bat guano around the plant. Flowering started in the middle of august-second week to be precise. I should point out that you could really see the PCK influence in her leaves. They were big, wide and deep green. Beautiful to look at! There was a lot of sugar on the buds...magnificent! Its a pitty that mother nature wasnt on our side this year. Weather here was pretty awfull in the fall. Lots of rain and fog. Low temperatures also. Thankfully that didn't lead to any bigger problems. No botrytis (i spoted some mold just before i chopped her though), no catterpillars... In the description provided by the CBG guys its stated that recommended flowering time is 9 weeks. I cut my at 8 weeks because the plant that was her neighbour was heavily infested with botrytis and i didnt want to push my luck for one extra week. Although i do feel i could let her go to 10 weeks with no problem if the weather was right. As you will see bellow the buds could use another week or two of flowering. They would really pack weight and density. But hey...we can't always have what we want right? I'm still satisfied with the growing experience and would grow this strain again (i still have 2 seeds i think). Oh and for the smell of buds...similar to purple pheno of PCK. Amazing smell. To me it smells fresh, citric, fruity...you know like the jelly bonbons that are sprinkled with sugar? Well...like that! One of the best smelling plant i ever grew (i have to admit i am quite young and didnt grow a lot of plants :P )'till next time fellas! (smoke report will follow later on when the stuff will be cured) |

Thx for info and growth details Bleiweis. Wish you liked it
It was (out of stock already) another limited release using Oaxaca79 and PCK, plain and simple F1 and very quick cross. Best kaiki |

In terms of growth i liked it so much that i'm thinking about trying to replicate the results using mextiza x pck. This purple mexican was one of the most robust and mold resistant plants. Is that a trait of PCK or oaxaca79 (the mold resistancy)? The trichome coverage is also really nice...i got a few compliments from friends around here that it's one of the most potent buds that they smoked. I like everything about the plant...the smell was/is amazing, buds are hard (would be rock hard if they would have the chance to finish properly). Too bad that it was dried too quick so the taste is harsh :/ despite being picked a bit early you can still feel the influence of pck-body stone at the end. That's the only downside for me as i do not like to be "tired" from weed
![]() I will do a smoke report this week

Beautiful pictures Bleiweiss... I love the dark purple calyxes and also those leaves are huge!! The buds look very frosty as well, I bet they smoked nice.
I wonder how the Purple Mexican compares to the Mextiza in terms of high, it seems the smells and flavours should be quite close. I really love how this Oaxacan79 behaves on the hybrids, gotta love this fine mexican lady (although I'm sure it's also the breeder's fault)! ![]() The PCK male also seems to work like a charm in this simple F1s with nice sativas, it seems it respect a lot the mother's character. I have seen great hybrids following this scheme and indeed they have great mold resistance and always beautiful colors too.

Nothing but glowing reviews on this strain. Ran her 2 times and both were identical runs. Good hybrid vigor and decent yield. Not fussy at all.
No problem saying if you can get your hands on some give them a shot, you wont be let down.
