Can anyone in the US answer the question of which dept. of justice do you think would be the ones to make there visit is they were to??Stemming from this OG thing??After my question is answered i will say why i ask this question.Something very disturbing has occured.Thanks for any help

Can you give anymore info "Something very disturbing has occured"? I think if proved there envolment would mean a lot of people taking further action.

My guess would be the ATF, or local state police.

No. The FBI does not get involved with drug stuff, their provence is national security, organized crime operations and terrorism. The Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) is directly involved with drug crimes, it was they who partnered with the RCMP to bust Narc Emery. It was the RCMP who busted RC for hemp importation, the US does not seem to have been (directly) involved with that operation (at this time).

If you are in the USA and get busted, it is generaly the local police and/or the DEA that will do the deed, though sometimes the Dept of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms is there too, depending on the details of the warrant.

It is the nature of the Bush admistration to trumpet any small success anywhere in the world at this time as they are on the downslope of public opinion now and need something to get them back up on top of things in the eyes of their supporters. You will recall that they made loud noises when they busted Emery about "narco-terrorism" immediately after the act for this very purpose.

I am not so sure about the solidity of the HS/RC bust, and I will bet that the new Canadian govt isn't too solid on that either. It is starting to look more like harassment than a real bust to me now, though we shall see as things develop.

Very disturbing things happen every day.

Well buckwheat answered my question in another thread but heres why i asked.Last week i got something in the mail but destroyed it because of OG takedown.The reason for ditching the package was because safe addy info wasnt deleted.Heres the scary thing.I got a call with the number on my caller ID with the first 3 numbers the same as the local fuzz.Started looking in the phone book under police and sherrif and saw no match.Was still little worried but kept thumbing through the book and found the whole number and beside it was federal bureau of investigations.Anyway i called the number back that was on my machine and it didnt even ring once.There was a automated voice message saying this person wasnt available but could page this person if needed??Does that not sound fucked up??

Yes, but I would wait and see what they wanted. I would be stealthy as shit though.

I had a customer once that got into some shit with the FBI. I got a call and they made an appointment for an interview. When I did the interview (in a local resteraunt), they asked me a bunch of Q's on this guy, I did a lot of "Gee, I don't know, sorry." and that was that. Made me real nervous because they were G-men, but I wasn't in the toilet so no big deal. They never did anything to him either, though he was a class "A" scumbag and a crook for sure. They were only interested in national security issues.
