Been meaning to do this thread for a bit now. Ran Ganesh's Strawberry Diesel IX in my last grow and she turned out really nice. Had a lot of diesel in the smell and taste with a Sour Strawberry overtone-similar to a soured red wine kinda thing but with strawberry instead of grape.
Took a couple of cuts to keep as backup and after popping a bunch of other beans for my current grow. Actually was about to toss the cuts, but then decided to throw them in the tent for some extra flavor (am I glad I kept these babies). Set-up info: I use a bit of a combo of KISS and the Recipe for feeding. Per Gallon of nute solution: 3/4-1 tsp Maxibloom 2ml Protekt Silica 1ml Ca/Mg Plus Floralicious Plus-just a tad Clear zyme pond enzymes-just enough to see 0.25ml-0.5ml Drip Clean Tap Water - ~80-100ppm 3/4-1 tsp KoolBloom at day 15, 30 and for several days before flush. Grown in Hydro on E&F tables. Straight Botanicare Coco 1k MH for first couple weeks flower, the 1k HPS till finished. DR120 4x4 tents for homes. Veg was started under 220W PLL, then on the outer edge of 1k MH. Here's a couple of early veg shots, did not really take many pics in veg or very early flower. Strawberry Diesel IX early veg: Flower shots coming next. Hope you enjoy em as much as I did growing em

Now on to the flower show.
One cut was put into a 1 gal Earth Juice Aerobag (smart pot type container) and one was put into a 3 gal. We pick up at 5 weeks into flower, when they are putting on some buddage. Strawberry Diesel IX plant #2 (1 gal pot) @ 35 days: Did not get a lot of pics until fairly late in flower. Was running 16 other strains with these, so not everbody got lots of pics till later on. |

Here we go with some pics from 9 weeks or so into flower. They are really putting on weight here, and have plenty of aroma. The 1 gal plant (#2) has more diesel to the smell, while the 3 gal (plant #1) is almost all strawberry with a hint of fuel.

Looking very nice Amber.
I have a Blue Cheese in a small cabinet that is over growing the box and starting to burn the tips of bud leaves. I was just considering breakin her down too.
