This will be a start to finish run of SOL - Blue Satellite 2.2

Light: 400w HPS w/ conversion MH veg bulb 18 inches away from canopy. clones are not used to HID lighting yet

Soil: 100% organic subcool super soil method
(google:subcool supersoil: if u dont know)

Remember tap water should settle for 48hrs to evaporate chlorine and other things that can kill beneficial bacteria and microherds

Water: Turtle tank water: 3 Baby painted turtles ,w/ 20 baby malawi's african variety

Tent: 2ft D : x 4ft W : x 6ft H : homemade out of 1/2in pvc and fittings & 4mil 10' x 100'ft black plastic

Potters: 7Gallon nursery potters PH: 6.4

Temp 78.F : RH: 60%

Going back to my roots of soil .its been 6-7yrs since ive ran anyform of soil or soilless. so i figured why not go ol skool on'em

i plan on going 2 weeks veg and then flower ?? unless they grow very slow . the mother doesnt like to bush out . her branches when topped grow very close together . she likes single cola , my only female out of a freebie 5pk childern. never flowered this til now

never done SOL's strains, I do DJ, but I hear his are just as good !

ive always loved spice of life gear. steve is one of the breeders i look up to ...thus from back in late 90's i know these will be killer .
15yrs ago soil / soil-less with organics is where it all started for me , before goin hydroponic .

i dont think ill have any problems ,i just wanna see if i still got it lol.

Its to bad steve makes wine now ,instead of cannabis

DJ's gear is great worth every penny just out of my pockets range for now .

we will know the first ,ill be flippn the lights back to 12/12. gives them 11 days to recover from being topped. ive yet to flower these been on og and c99 kick

Looking good. I too went back to the soil from hydro about 1-1/2 years ago. I am growing in the TLO (true living organics) method, which seem very close to your super soil method only with more additives and 3 soil zones ( bottom, middle and top). All organic. This is also a water only mix with some nutrient teas every ten to fifteen days depending on strain. You give up a little in yeild but the potency, flavor, and quality more than make up for it. After tasting weed grown this way I'll never go back to hydro. It's like night and day. Well, anyway keep up the good growing.

does anyone ever bottom feed/water soil plants ?? by this i mean fill up saucers underneth the potters with water and let it wick up into the potters via drainage holes ... my plants seem to love this. its kinda like a hempy bucket. i been doin this cuz tent temps been up around 90.F
