House of Love 7 Strain Grow-Along
Aloha and welcome to the House of Love Seed Company's 7 strain grow along!
Many of you are unfamiliar with our gear, so I thought a real time grow along of some of our more popular strains was in order, to show growers what to expect from HOL. This thread will feature Diesel 99, Chronic 99, Chronic Dog, 4 Way Diesel, Casey Jones f3, Honey Girl, and my personal favorate Sugar Cane Train. I will update the thread with new pics as each strain progresses from seedling to harvest, and hopefully... cured bud! Here's the setup: *All plants are the same age, started in rockwool plugs transferred into organic soil. *They will finish in one gallon containers, as I want to see an approx. yield per gallon. *They all went from flouro's to a single 400 watt MH. The veg time was approx. 30 days. *Flowering was done under a 600 watt HPS. *Maximum stretch was encouraged to see their maximum finish height. Most plants were between 18 to 24" when flipped. The lights were in their highest position in both veg and flower. Pots sat on the floor throughout. *All plants were allowed to grow naturally- no topping, fimming or low stress training was used. This was done to determine an approx. natural yield. For those of you currently growing HOL gear, please feel free to pop in here with your observations and pics.

Seed Buyers Beware! Don't waste your money on hype. If you have to buy multiple seed packs to find that "keeper", you're getting ripped off. Every female in a pack of seeds should be a keeper! We've been led to believe that lots of variation in a cross is a good thing, because some vendors would rather you buy several packs of their gear, instead of them actually doing the selections to fix that nag champa or golden clit trait themselves. For hobby growers, pheno hunting is fun. But mono-croppers who grow to pay the bills prefer a consistent product that regularly delivers the desired trait package. |

Yort, they all get the trio of fox farm liquids, 1/2 strength and a teaspoon of cal mag/2 gallons of h2o. They get straight water every 3rd or 4th watering.
Since they're in 1 gallon pots, they need water every other day.

Diesel 99, day 38 of flower-
Out of 6 strains, this girl is the tallest, at nearly 6'. She didn't care for the one gallon pot, and threw a couple of male flowers on the mainstem, hence the orange pistils. But she's got the most wonderful smell, an equal mixture of pineapple and red grapefruit!
