bluemoonshine harvest window ???????

i harvested at 49 days, the buds were of small to average size, and the triches were mostly cloudy and some amber. taste and smoothness were exceptional. the potency was good, but not super. they were grown under a 1000w m.h. for veg and 1000w h.p.s. for flower. is it possible that i should be harvesting earlier or later ? could bluemoonshine potency be better when harvested closer to mostly clear? or should i wait longer than i have been for more amber?

In my experiance with any plant, the earlier you harvest(mostly clear heads) the racier and more uplifting the high. The Dutch are great at this practice. I liken it to lawnmore mouth. Everytime I'm smoking Dutch coffeeshop herb it's green as hell and very racie(sic). The beauty of DJ's lines is there flavour. N.American Breeder's(especially on the west coast) tend to let the plants flower longer in order to release the turpines full potential. So to answer your question, its' really up to you and your personal preference.

hey red thanks for the reply. ive decided to do a side by side for comparison. i am familiar with the trich stages and various highs that come with them. i just felt that the plants lacked some potency in general. would you guys hold off until a substantial amount of amber trichs?
