No nutes yet....not necessary. They are in standard dirt, with low nutes, just water pH 6.3 -6.5. Yes they look quite dark with this blue hues in the leaves.

This is going to be a bit slow as right now I'm very bussy with my mother room and with the outdoor season so... I'll veg the PP as much as I can take cuts and then repro all of them in winter.... we'll see...

Is it related with other DP strains like Passion #1 or Purple #1?

The original DJ/DP joint project was an F1:-

DP's Passion #1 (Amstel Gold) X DJ's Blueberry

It does OK outdoors in N Europe, very fast and mild smoke.. apparently...

Now those seeds are to be called Passion #1, but I'm not using the switch name yet, its too confusing to explain name changes while genetic make-up remains same.? ? ...Amstel Gold is an Indica variety developed in California in the seventies and has been grown outdoors in Holland since 1980. Smokes soft with a citrus like aroma and has a good high. Easy to grow, grows with long compact resinous buds. One of the best green outdoor varieties in our collection. "Marc Emery

No confusion here :-) If it is from Dutch Passion then it IS a hybrid

Early catalog descriptions explained the cross as Amstel Gold X BB and credited DJ - All mention of DJ was removed probably not long after thier falling out.

There is a quote form DJ somewhere out there in which he mentions making hybrids with DP.

I bought my first DP beans over ten years ago from Dutch Passions shop in A'dam 1 pack of Flo, 1 Blueberry.

I'll keep looking for that quote

Since we're on the topic of DP's DJ hybrids: I was browsing through the clearance section on the Bou and the Isis x Flo caught my eye.... Do any of you guys have experience with this cross? A haze cross with a Flo dad on top sounds pretty nice,especially for the price of admission.

Bohempian is Right Folks!

And 'I' can tell by the 'look' of the plants, that, yes!....this strain is not a DJ genex dutch gene, but a dj gene x dj gene...grown into a seedrelease by the company-Dutch Passion.

My major flaw is my youth, because I assumed the DP seedstock was an unlimited supply all these years. I posted and posted praise of the strain-FLO, until it was gone permanently from Dutch Passion. :( oh well

Let's not miss out on a second coming of this Purple Passion!!!

I think that Bohempian is right as ususal but I gotta be honest and say that I have never heard from DJ or Red where and how purple passion exactlly fits into the blue family.

Hopefully Red can shed some light???

High!! The Purple Passion are doing right, the growth is very healthy and I'm loving them, thick stems plenty of non glandular trichomes on it, with the typical blueish colors.
They are quite rare for me in what morphology refers, I've never seen leaves like this, the form and shades.

The only one showing some variegation/mutation

One of my favs.

This one is similar

This are bit more compact and the leaves are different
