One thing I have to insist on though is not letting them sit in those tiny little salad bowls too long as it really slows them down they have very aggressive root systems which is why normally a beer cup would be a minimum size for salad mixing

WORD, they will be transfered from that tiny salad bowl to something larger very soon. Havent grown from seed much so this is a new thing for me! Should have known that was too small from the get go but I think it will all work out. As for that Sweet Tooth#4 x Casey Jones.... you may be on to something epic their. My last plant of CJ awarded us with almost 9oz's of meds from one plant in a 7gal air pot. The possibilities may be endless with that cross! And the ladies are doing just fine...except one lagger. Will she come around you think? Not sure as my experience with seeds is limited to a handful of grows. I did notice that the shell of the seed was cracked this morning though, hopefully she comes out of her slumber and enjoys the life we have givin her. These lovely ladies will be transfered into a larger salad bowl in the next couple of days here... wich I glady have off and need to reconfigure my AC situation...the last one did not work! Pain in my friggin ass, so I had to take down all the ducting and the friggin door I had to bore holes through and all this other crap! oh well, this business can nickle and dime a person to death! Cool man, definitely get those babies in bigger salad bowls sooner than later because to be honest with you they send down that first taproot as far as they can and really need the space or it will greatly slow them down. Not sure about that lagger but I know sometimes for no real rhyme or reason a seedling will randomly do that if they are not started directly in their salad bowl it seems to be some kind of stress from the transplanting or something of that nature. I would try misting it with some water and see if that helps shed the seed coat if it is opening already but I would likely pop another salad topper in quick as a back-up before the rest get too far ahead

That having been said they are already moving fast brother!

Good man! If you let them dry a little bit first it will be way easier to pop them out in one piece without it falling apart from the weight of the water in the medium. Just saying as a reminder and don't hold back on the size they go into because the bigger the better when it comes to our dear Toof!

Definately keep that in mind. Are you thinking right into a 1gal pot? or a 4in pot first? I was thinking to pop em into a 1gal if your saying they send that taproot deep. Thanks for the info brother! Peace and love Stagger

The bigger the better man, in nature (in Switzerland where they were originally bred) they have no container sizes because the earth below is their container and they spread out below at will. If they go into 1 gallons they will "seem" to not do anything much for a few days but you can bet your ass they are taking off down below. Sweet Tooth's have very big root systems and it's one of the reasons they get rootbound easily. Also one of the reasons they grow so damn fast once established & yield nicely.
