Hawaiian Cannabis Club Opens!

I recieved an e-mail from Roger Christie of the THC Ministry yesterday that announced the first Cannabis Club in the state of Hawaii.

It's in Paia on the Isl. of Maui. Right across the street from Charley's (if your familiar with Paia at all) in beautiful downtown Paia. My buddy went down and hung out with Roger last night so I should have some more info coming.

Congrats to all that made it happen!

Med Man, Gnatural Gnostic, and Billygoat there gettin it ready for us.

MM,

It's in Paia right across the street from Charley's right down town.

The little neiborhood (sp) behind the main drag in what they call "Skill Town". I am waiting for some more info from Roger in the next day or so. (availability of clones, buds, seeds..etc..)

Bid Island is coming soon I bet. I think that all the "batu" or "ice" whatever, has got every body scared. Weed heads and speed heads have some real fundimental differences in attitudes.

I'll keep you posted

Yup, the "ice epidemic" is a bad deal. Many people see a direct link between the "green harvest" crackdown on marijuana growers a few years ago and the marked increase in Ice use. Dealers started peddling ice when the herb became scarce and expensive.

Not many pot smokers will rob you or kill you for their next hit like an icehead might. If they ever legalize it weed would be virtually free here within months and it would remove the criminal element.

Down with "Ice"

Up with free weed

It sounds like Texas in the 80's, a wild west attitude and a sleep deprived mind, very dangerous and bad combo. Speed on every corner and you had to sneak around to find good weed. The phrase "speed kills" rings true. Either the drug or the drug head will kill your ass with no discretion.

At least a weed head might forget to rob and kill you before it's all over or at the very least have shitty aim because there high. Weed heads are usually to unmotivated to cause conflicts over herb.

Free your mind, grow weed

Sweet

I don't know how i missed this thread. I've also talked to Roger through E-mail. He's a very nice guy and very hard working. Glad to hear the great news, because i read and acticle about him going to court for some stuff. Didn't get a chance to read the whole article then lost the paper. I'm very happy to hear they got the first Med Club over in Hawaii. They been putting out some nice weed for years, then after they ban the chopper from flying their mission because of the birds. Well that just made things better again for the growers. Alot of people over there rely on growing to support their families on the Big Island and other islands I know i wouldn't want to walk into someone patch over in Puna or Kau. you never know what might happen, but it's great news they got their first med club. Super job Roger, keep up the super job. Maybe when i get over to O'ahu, I'll start some shit and see about opening one over there in O'ahu. I know the Hawaii Island people are for cannabis. Hemp and weed is something most of them agree on, but who knows. Texas, when were you planning to head over to Hawaii? I think i should have everything over there beginning of 2006. Still looking at different places, land is top dollar over there on O'ahu.

I am looking at about the same time frame BG.

I am going back over to Maui in a couple months and I will be able to check out the Cannabis Club in Paia. Land is top dollar everywhere except on the Big Island. Maui is at about 200K an acre. Really something over there.

Your are sure right about wondering onto someones patch in Puna, never to be seen again. People on "ice" watching weed grow is a dangerous combo.

I believe that there is already all kinds of movement over on Oahu as far as the THC Ministry. I talked to Roger yesterday and he was over at a trial for one of his members. The guy had 3000 plants and 48 lbs. but hey who's to say how much is too much.

Who is to say is to much, lollllllllllll. NO, officer, all 48lbs is mine. I'm waiting to see what all goes down with school. Might be going to grad school over there. I've found around 1-12 arches on the big island for almost nothing. What is this Ice you are talking about. I remember some ice back when i was growning up, is the mid 80's. I think it was from Japan, but it might not be the stuff i'm thinking about. I'd move to the big island, but O'ahu has alot better waves and alot of beaches.

You have the Oahu brainwash going it sounds like. High dollar land, concrete everywhere, high rises, and traffic for god sakes. No, I'm just ribbin ya. Oahu was never for me not my idea of paridise. It feels like Miami Beach or Cancun to me. I lose the fact that I am in paradise when I'm over there. Don't get me wrong, it's beautiful beyond compare, but not really for me.
Maui is killer, but prices for land and homes is through the roof. Real trendy for the super rich. It's real hard to do anything, as far as land, without a pretty decent bank roll. Down on the Hana end it's a little better. Lahaina is as close to the Honalulu feel as you can get on Maui. High rise hotels, parking lots, the whole nine yards. Upcountry Maui is were I would possibly look Paia, Haiku, Makawoa, up in the back woods, hippie country. But it's probably a little to pricey for me though.
The Big Island is huge. It's the largest of all the islands and has the least population. Cheap land, well relativly cheap. I saw 2 acre tracts over there for $3800.00 and 10-12 acre tracts for under 100k. Now we are talkin. Off grid even cheaper. Water meters and utilities is the big racket over there. It's like the mob runs the water meter place. On the Big Island Solar power, water catchment, a since of adventure and your set, plus self sufficient . "Ice" is the plague of the Big Island right now. Smokable Meth "batu". It's probably the same stuff you remember from Japan but it's taken off over there. There is a heavy Asian/philipino population and they seem to really like that crap. So you have a bunch of unpredictable meth heads running around like the wild west overthere. I live in Texas "The Crank Capitol of the World" so I know what the meth syndrome is all about. When Green Harvest was in full effect they basically made it impossible for outdoor growers to have a decent crop without getting nabbed. So, resorcefull growers that can't grow start kickin up the ice trade. And an island full of young stoners that can't find weed will ultimately turn to what is easily available and right now it's ice. The tide does seem to be turning a little though. No more Green Harvest, at least for a little while, so more weed on the market.

My vision of Hawaii is rural, remote, tropical, and undeveloped. I think there is a better chance of getting that at the Hana end of Maui or on The Big Island somewhere off grid.

Keep in mind BG there is a North Shore on all the Hawaiian Islands. Maui North Shore though it's kite surfing all the way.

Anyways, I,m going back in August or September i'll check on some more stuff while I'm there.
