Glaus goes orange 110w pl-l
I have send the old Scrog/SOG cab on retirement and build a new and upgraded cab 2.0, so I thought it would be appropriate with a new thread for the orange monster
. Here she is posing with my morning coffee, almost finished (both coffee and cab). All I need to do now is to mount knobs on the magnetic doors and filter the intakeholes. The cab is designed as the famous NGB-cab with bloom, veg and tech compartments. In this design passive air is entering through the light trap located on the bottom of each chamber. I think I have stolen the design for the light traps from LoKey, but I am not sure. ![]() - Bloom section is approximately 2 sq.ft. and is lit by 2 x 55w 3000k Pl-ls. - Veg section is approximately 1 sq.ft. and is temporarily lit by a single 21w 2700k CFL (will replace this as soon as I find a suitable replacement, but cold white CFLs are a rarity in my area) - Exhaust is pulled through my trusty scrubber by a Scythe Ultra Kaze fan on half speed. Not a smell yet ![]() - Temperature keeps within 5-6 degrees above the ambient temperature. Temps at the end of the day. Ambient on top and bloom room on bottom. For now I will be running a multi-strain SOG in 100% coco and lucas formula with GH. This way I intent to select the best strains for a future Scrog grow. Lemon Skunk day 50 Take care

Good construction
Inconspicuous design Clean finish Well done sir! And you've even made a fashionable piece - in my opinion that is one of the hardest parts of cab construction. Making it look like a good piece of furniture that you're proud to own in the end. Could you tell us more about the magnetic door situation? Are they solenoid locking magnets or regular catches? |

Thanks you guys
![]() Carforce - The doors are hold in place by regular catches magnets. Originally it was temporary solution, but they work so well that I have no intentions of replacing them for now. This is the 3rd grow cab that i have build and so far the most inconspicuous of them. It is not completely silent, but still more silent than my laptop ![]()
