Right. I grabbed some pics just before I potted all the females up. So far there are 4 fems. I am sure there are another 3 but till I see hairs they don't get potted up. I don't like waste.
There is a real nice trinodal stem pheno but it seems not to even have any signs of sex so I guess its going to be a male. The over all health of the plants is really good and I am very happy how things are going. Going back to when they were potted up and I mentioned that they freaked out a bit. I believe the reason is the bag of Coco I used was Coco Natural and not Coco Professional Plus. The Difference is the Plus, has been pre buffered and the Natural has not. Fucking shop I got the bags from charged me full price too.. Simple mistake was rectified by them by giving me 3 free bags.. Cant complain. Anyways. I am going to be re-building my grow room tonight to get ready for G13's Kinda looking forward to it.. |

I've had a few trinodal/whorled phyllotaxy plants with the chronic male ,about 1 in 60 show this trait. This trait normal grows out once the nodes start alternating but there is a slight increase in yield which is hardly noticable if it turns out to be a female.
Flowering them outdoors is totally differant to indoors as most indoor bred plants only start flowering when the days get down to 14 hours which is around mid august, and with some indoor vars not starting until they get down to 12hours in late sept but most indicas i've grown outdoors start no later then sept 1st.

Hi Matt, yea its weird. They don't start out like that and don't seem to finish like that either with the 3 branches.
Still only 4 have showed sex - The others are showing what seem to be calaxys but till I see a hair pop out they are as good as males.. They have been moved under a 600W MH in the loft now and The 4 that were potted up have roots showing at the bottom of the pots already. I am going to give them all till Sunday and then they are going into flower. So far I am getting the impression that they might produce very nice single cola's with some tight buds near the main stem. There is very little side branching. I have been looking for a strain like this to run in my aero-flo system. Maybe this might be it ![]() |

It'll be nice to see how they do in your aero-flo,when i grew them a few years ago they all ended up with 1 long(1.5ft-2ft) cola with some lower side buds.

Yea Matt, I cant wait.. The aeroflo wont come back out till the colder months start so they will be grown in coco till then. I switched the light cycle to 12/12 the other night under the 600W MH - I am hoping there is not much stretch and the others finally show sex but I am pretty sure there going to be male. Not the end of the world though.
I'll grab some pics a bit laters.. |

I've always found that most plants that show sex later normally end up being female ,so fingers crossed.

Cheers for that matt, That sounds awesome. Its strange how some pheno's have shown really early. I think there might be a few more fems. I snapped some pics last night and just before. I have had to turn on the air-con up there as its so damn hot.
And to finish off I thought I would share a pic of "The Big Cheese" I have in at the moment. Its 6 weeks in so about two more weeks till she is done. She really does produce a nice yield. She is being grown in soil. |

Slight update. The rest of the plants turned out to be males.
40% fem rate ain't bad really considering most the time with Crazy-X stuff There is a high fem rate so it balances out in the end ![]() They are still under the 600W MH lamp in my grow room. I am glad the temps in the U.K have dropped now. I took two cuttings off each plant in-case I find a keeper out of the 4 plants. I have a plant that has been vegging outside that I am going to add to the mix. Its my Lemon Stinky from the F1's.. Its kinda cool that most my keeper plants are Crazy-X stuffs.. |

Were probably into week 1 of 12/12 now and they are looking quite nice.. Growth rate is quite spectacular in two days..
I put in the Lemon Stinky from outside into 24 hours darkness and then it went in with the other plants. I have a feeling its going to be a bit of a monster.. |
