Your expierences with germrate of HFH
Good evening everyone!
New outdoor season is starting and I've put in all my ordered seeds last week. I was looking forward to the HTC DeepChunk x (Eroc / DanishPassion) F2 and now I'm really disappointed cause only 1 seed come into the world - out of 13! All the other seeds from Female Seeds, Greenhouse and Barneys Farm (25) germed 100%! Do I only crapped some shit beans?! What are your expierences? greets Barefoot

My personal experience has been that HFH seeds have an excellent gernination rate. I have used up three packs so far of Hashplant, Hashplant2 and several seeds from from my pack of HFH's SnowdogXC99 and every seed has germinated.

13 seeds of Hasplant2 - 100 % germrate
13 seeds of Danish Gold - 100 % germrate 13 seeds of Mighty Gold - 100 % germrate As you can see, i got exellent germrates. So, for me there's nothing to complain about

I have also had amazing germ rates .... maybe they've been through a x-ray somewhere along the delivery route.

I'm really dedicated to saving seeds now. I went through many years of no access to good genetics. I have my gardens all planted for seeds this year (the males in each plot are either Hashplant 1 or Hashplant2. I live in a country filled with intolerance and ignorance. I have to be ready in case the really crazy sorts get anymore power. Peace!

Thanks for the reviews! I also think that the vendor did some mistakes concerning storage.
Writing a mail.... will try some HFH next year! Have a great season

sorry to hear barefoot, pm me if you keep experiencing non sprouting seeds from hfh. i store all my seeds is the fridge and do not sell seeds that are older than 4 years. most from the hfh outlet is 1-2 years old max
i always hand pick every single seeds personally and let my fingers inspect the bean. i only send out seeds that i know is alive and i learned to feel that from decades of doing it. so seeds though has a to tough shell and needs to be "clicked" carefully between the thumb and point finger or filled in the end. also often i see seeds that wont sprout in water or toilet paper sprout in soil. |
