umm it's help if u could tell us if youre trying to convert a home security light to a remote ballast or if u just bought the ballast & ignitor or waht. A pic might help too... but here's these

I have a kit that comes with everything, the bulb, socket, ignitor, etc. I looked at the links none of them had the wiring diagram pics ? I guess only the the txt from the faq was salvaged.

the following is the article for converting a security light, but without the wiring diagram, it's not terribly useful- can anyone contribute a wiring diagram for converting a security light?

Just buy some orange outdoor wire(like an extention cord) and an outdoor plug also orange. Then just hook the black to black, white to white and ground to ground. Put on some wire nuts and some electrical tape. If you want a more waterproof connection they have these little boxes filled with silicon that seals the wirenuts inside waterproof. I just used wirenuts with tape without a problem.

there should be some sort of diagram on the ballast its self that shows you the configuration
but without details of the parts or pic's its impossible to tell
most ballasts have a few ways of being wired depending on the local voltage
