ak47 x c99
26 days into flowering on my 6th grow of this clone. I swear its looks better every grow. really put sometime into improving the setup and design of this growroom for this grow. first tree grow though(w/ naked bulbs hanging down instead of vented hood).

Interesting mix. Lots of sativa, if that's a serious seeds ak, should be lots of sativa with any ak crossed to the cindy. Nice cross :p

Those look sweet!
How is the production with the naked lamp as opposed to being in the hood? |

composer: your an ak47 grower right? I would love to grow ak47 pure however the smell may be too fierce for my odor control system(ozone in the exhaust). I went with the c99 cross because cindy is such a low odor plant. This is a joey weed creation. Odor is nil until third week and it intensifies from there. However I can only imagine a roomful of true ak47 at 7th week. Yield is much better than the f2's of c99 i've grownout. Love the high. not much stretch on this grow. Should be denser than normal nugs.
gd:I can't believe how the plants responded to the new lighting setup. Hoods are just too mono directional. With the bulbs hanging down I have much more surface area on the plant exposed to direct light. I'll admit that my lighting system is a bit unique in the tree grow scene. their mounted to lightmovers! have them running down corridors within the diamond arrangement. 3 movers in all. the middle one has an add a track on a 7.5 foot rail. their 4 feet apart . 4000 watts in all. 3:1 hps:mh. Temp is little higher than before. However its still within manageable range. This grow has been allot fun. |
