oh, ok i thought your sig was part of the post. nice pick up, you'll love it for sure. all my pics on here are with a canon xti. unfortunately, icmag only allows so big of photos. adjustable white balance is a great feature when shooting under hps. |

Superman congrats on your new cam. Sounds like you have the equipment to get some macros now all you need is the time. Buddy I'm still learning and trying to get good images, macros are tough. You should add a remote shutter release to your arsonal and use mirror lock-up if it allows you to do so. Lighting is important to.
I can not tell anyone how to get the perfect macro shot, I hope you understand. I might shoot a couple hundred to get only a few I like, and I've been doing it for years. There are some helpful photography forums like Fredmiranda.com you might pick up some ideas. What I would need to see is your pix, what settings and set up you used to get them, and then possibly I could give you some pointers. Looking forward to seeing those pix...most of all-have fun! DD

I use Aperture mode myself. This lest me change the depth of field on the fly(F-STOP). Manual is tricky you have to set everything and its to time consuming for me. I use thes 2 mostly Aperture or shutter.
