Hey REZ sorry for the delay to get this going I wanted to make sure everything was set for this project to go smoothly.
Thanks guys Im glad you are liking the idea of this as much as I am, But I can already see there are a few people still worried about using Auto-Flowering genetics to make a CHEMDOG Hybrid. Some may think it is an abomination to make such a thing... well let me introduce you to OGRE, it may set your mind at ease a bit, it isn't your average AF. I have been keeping this one under wraps as I never intended on releasing her on her own, she is a great breeder and I have already used her to make a few other large AF plants. Yes, 1 of them will be out later this summer, not to long to wait get something like this but thats another story, moving on. The CHEM AF project came along, so I offered to do the CHEMDOG AF project with her. It is the perfect opportunity for me to show people what is coming later this year in the world of Auto-Flowering and have a good place to do it, along with REZDOG's support! OGRE- Secret Citrus Sativa Pheno X Durban Skunk OGRE, was the unexpected result of a plan that began as a personal project to suit my needs for a larger AF breeding plant that could be used as the parent in new AF x NON-AF hybrids. It was supposed to be just the first step in making larger Auto-Flowering strains that give maximum amounts of yields with minimal plant numbers, at the same time keeping all the benefits of Auto-Flowering. Basically, making an AF plant that looks more like normal NON-AF plants. I never expect the strong sativa traits of the Durban Skunk to combine so well with the Auto-Flowering Secret Citrus parent, producing what I was directly after in the first attempt. OGRE is still a work in progress, 2 phenos are showing up, The Branchy Pheno, The Single Cola Pheno, if you can call it a single cola. ![]() OGRE Day 35 from seed. OGRE Brachy Pheno mid-late flowering OGRE Single Cola Pheno at harvest Day 75 from seed. OGRE Branchy Pheno at harvest Day 78 from seed. SGS |

This isn't an opinion poll to see if each individual likes or dislikes AF. It's live-journal documentation of the creation of a new strain which most of you will one day buy.

These look awfully big for only 35 days from sprouting, even if under 24/7 light... especially for being in soil... I find it a little hard to believe that they would be that tall and have that much branch development in only 35 days from seed in soil. I could MAYBE see it from a clone in a well dialed in hydro setup...

The CHEMDOG IBL beans I got from REZ.
There are a few differences in the beans,, not sure if they are from different phenos used for the seed runs but they look a bit different, I will be keeping track of what phenos show up from what group of seeds. 3 seeds are small round and grey, 1 big grey seed, and the rest are very different, smooth texture and very tan brown. CHEMDOG IBL, Day 1 12 beans down and germing. I have more if I dont get 100% germ. I direct plant into soil after 8-12 hours of soaking in plain water. OGRE , Day 1 39 beans down and germing. Looking to get 16 females under this 600Watt but I doubt they will fit. SGS |
