firstly i havent had nycd before but this is what i would expect it to taste so maybe the unknown white strain they used just mainly gave the strain lots of crystals but not sure

this is uncured .. will make a note if cure increases the taste of the bud by alot

the bud is very low odour and smells like leomonade .. the smell it leaves behind on your fingers is strong though and you cant help smelling them lol cause its a very strong sweet lemonade smell .. very addictive smell

taste is metalic like slight battery acid and slight hidden touch of lemon/lemonade .... with curing i would say would be alot more lemonade coming to the front of the taste, will let know if does

high is mostly body but not couchlock, i would guess is maybe about 16% thc but not sure but if your not careful you can float away in a daze kinda like zoning out and daydreaming and it breaks your concentration .. sometimes you get a lil lost after the daze and need to work out what you were doing before hehe =)
i would give this 8 1/2 out of 10 so no holy grail or anything but encouraging that lemonade smell to reeky and more pronounced flavour (which may occur after cure) would make more a 9 or 9 1/2
edit: even though body it is a very happy mostly body slightly heady buzz (feel cool and relaxed/chilled and happy buzzing along lol) ... if curing brings out the lomade strongly this will be a keeper

def a creeper .. its more stronger now this is the perfect weed if tired of being bored at home cause theres nothing to watch or if you have a gf who wants to go see a very boring movie or something cause it makes you happy just to sit there not really doing much or watching cr*ppy tv programs hehe

Looks way 2 fresh to smoke in your pics needs a week probably.I grew nyc diesel and it really good but.I think the 707 headband cut is the cut you really want smell like grapefruit sour funk

Sounds like there is White Widow (or) White Rhino in the cross. I would say White Widow, since that is the other white strain they work with.

That will add a level of couchlock to the high of the NYCD.

^^chillout weed with a nice punch,jep !! I like her a lot (well, at least my cut, got her out of 4 girls, didnt look further into this strain cuz i was happy with this lady , 4 years now....)

You will need some other strains around for daytime but, for me, she has her place in my garden .....

sorry due to various circumstances being unable to grow hadn't been here for a year or so ... cheers for the input maplemonk ... i'm assuming you had come across a few phenos? did the majority taste like lemonade with that slight metallic/diesel taste? .... i used to always think the most enjoyable smoke i had from various strains was mexican sativa but with this thread refreshing my memory i think this is the one :-) ... this one is going on my list (again) =)
