I've been building this lean-to with a Mothers day completion goal.
It's about 6 feet high in the front and 7 in the back, the roof is clear poly carbon, and the sides are of clear fiberglass, it's 16 feet long and 5 feet deep, I'm hopeing to get away from sept. budrot!! I'm makein the front in two 8 foot panels that i'll be able to easily lift,and prop open with a stick, I'll fix it nice so i don't bust my head.
All my friends call my work cowboy carpentry, I don't use levels to much, for me it either looks right or it doesn't. If it does Nail-it. Drives my mrs. nuts. lol, Its a work in Progress, I've amended the soil with chicken and manure composts, This skagit River bottom is some of the best soil, it just grows good cannabis.

Hey there, SKAGITMAGIC!! Yeah, your handle got my attn, haha! I am southsound myself, yet out on the peninsula and know just what your refferring to when you mention bud-rot.......second only to the borg.
I am getting ready to put a few out myself though I usually regret it(more years than not). I am mostly inside and the two dont mix real well----I've brought a number of different problems to my inside while tending an outside. The inside is more consistant whereas the outside is a gamble: You can hit the motherload or get screwed in this neck of the woods......and were seeming real wet this one, AND cold so far......
Which leaves nothing but improvement from here, and with our weird weather every year........we may very well have on eof the best Falls ever.
I am thinking of a set-up like yours with shelter this time around......I could do something similar off of one of my sheds out on the property. Was thinking to do like jj as I do have a couple of costco frames I was going to build chicken pens out of. I have a few real nice mothers I can start hardening off and some vegged clones(in hydro) as well. I have a few pretty hardy strains that should do well out here. I do need to improve soil for the holes as I 've got a lot of clay here. I am familier with skagit soil---I've grown in that town of cement and out on the river from there. I am real curious about the new soil HD is carrying now(Growers Gold) in an indoor and outdoor mix.....seams pretty much inline with ffof, which is what I used to use before I switched to soiless.

Anyway, I love your plan and I 'd like to follow along if you dont mind. I 'll get some out and some pics up. I think I still have journels at rui and 420mag under same handle. Lots of pics....

Hey growinman, and everyone else,I'm sorry I haven't responded to your posts, I didn't subscribe to the thread, and didn't know anyone responded, Ya the answer to Bud rot I'm hopeing, this being the wettest, coldest spring i've ever seen my outdoor is the biggest this time of year ever, I'll keep this running clear thru till the trichomes turn amber. some pictures from today.
