Wish you like this limited release. Its very hard to find good and proper Punto Rojos nowdays. Hope you get best results. Hybrid shows some balanced phenotype expressions
Here some more pictures taken short ago of how a few seeds would perform Best kaiki |

Any comparison of Punto Roja high compared to Panama? My Panama reminds me of old Colombian I smoked, quite a lot. Soaring but pretty calm high and really good tasting smoke.

Just like to note that in a recent article on the origins of haze in Treating Yourself Magazine, it has been reported that the first five years of Haze production was all Punto Rojo. Would love to hear about the taste and effect of the Punto Rojo, if you ever get time Charlie.

Colombian redbud was the first pot I smoked back in 1980, and I grew the seeds found in that little bud shared with me. Pretty much smoked and grew Colombian imports for my first few years, but was never able to harvest mature buds. The closest I came was a dwarf female that flowered early as she was shaded by her towering sisters. Even the immature tops were great smoke, and I always felt it was nearly as potent as what I could buy.
I have these seeds on the way, and I'm anxious to see if the results flood my mind with memories of my youth. Thanks to all involved for improving and making these genetics available. Any more pictures or smoke reports? |

present Punto Rojo may be not as potent as some of the older ancestors, not such electric smoke, but its still quite clear smoke and surprisingly psico quality and pleasant at the same time, to be worked and improved for sure, visual distorted in fact, got lost in my car once jejeje although you dont perceive you are such high, effect comes and goes. So delicate quality to be reinforced with the time if so. Peppery incense, so common and recognible (spell) flavour in some columbians, sour not much sweet
With Punta Rosa we get more power and lots of trichs around. Using Panama hybrid produced some variations due traits lead in panama breeding towards more present commercial criterias. Energetic smoke, requires good flowering conditions and slow cure for sure, but a very interesting cross I believe. An approach to colombian side. We have seen some lovely results, some even highly productive. Hope you guys are tempted to go deeper into the hybrid best kaiki |

Elchischas, those look really nice, it's great to see them growing outdoors. What time of year were they harvested? Can you share your thoughts about the smoke when it's ready?
