Anywhere but Florida.

Except Texas.

A quick look on NORML's site said that 30g - 10lb is a felony punishable by up to three years.

It sounds bittersweet to me... but that's just my take.

Born and raised Hoosier right here. Got out 7 years ago....to the West. Indiana is incredibly behind the times as far as progressiveness goes. I would be incredibly surprised if Indiana ever became a medical state. I know a few activists that tried to write a medical bill 3-4 years ago that was endorsed by the ex-mayor of Indianapolis..and it never had a chance. Lots of fine herb comes out of Indiana...regardless.

Indiana is actually doing a study on pot...SB192

Quote:
(pal-item) The Indiana Senate this week approved a study on Indiana’s marijuana policies, including costs for the state’s criminal justice system and the potential for regulation and taxation options. Senate Bill 192 was approved on a vote of 28-21.

State Rep. Tom Knollman, R-Liberty, testified last week before a Senate committee on the issue of medical uses for marijuana. Knollman, a Union County farmer who has multiple sclerosis, told the committee he’d like the opportunity to try marijuana to relieve the pain he suffers. Prescription pain medications often don’t provide much relief, he said.

If the Indiana House agrees with S.B. 192, the Criminal Law and Sentencing Policy Study Committee would review the issues later this year and make recommendations on the medical use of marijuana, decriminalizing the possession of small amounts and controlling marijuana with regulated sales and taxation, as alcohol is regulated.

Indiana would not be the first state to consider loosening state regulations of marijuana. Fifteen states and the District of Columbia have legalized marijuana for medical use and 13 states have decriminalized possession of small amounts.
Doing better than Illinois...whodathunkit.

3rd harshest state in terms of penalties but there is a study underway likely to at least decrease penaltys to save the state some money.

But its still a draconian state as far pot laws go,I know from experience.Looking to move out of the state in a matter of weeks,to hopefully greener pastures.I think Ind is so tied up in the religion and propaganda that it will be years before it changes.Just my opinion.I once tried to discuss it with donnelly once I mite as well have been talking to a tree,he was dead set against anything being done with it,good ol status quo.

Indiana is not a progressive state and would be one of the last to appove medical ganja, unless that SB192 passes. I am proud of the Indiana Bubblegum though, and maybe Hoosier basketball in a few years. Their football team needs the help of the gods above. Peace and respect MON, and smoke some damn bubblegum.
