I had a question about a method that I heard about, wondering what your guys thoughts on it. Well, it goes like this:

After drying, one puts the buds in a jar and then WAITS a consider amount of time (24-72 hours) before opening it, checking vigorously for mold. The reason for doing this is to increase smell and taste in your buds. After the inital prolonged waiting period, you open the jar like normal.

Does this actually work? Or is it more problematic than helpful?

This actually works better than you could imagine. I have stuff in jars now for years and it is only gettin better.

Tex very nice link, clear and concise,I would like to take it a bit further with a method I learned at OG

a long time ago, it called the poor mans vacume sealer

goes like this: once your herb is nicly cured and where you want it, preheat your oven to 150F place your jar/jars into the oven for about 2-3 min. reach in with a gloved hand and slap your lid on and quickly tighten down and once it cools instant vacume seal, it will last for years, you could probably smoke it at your Grand childs 18th B-day
