Brother grows LemChem

Hey all,

I'll be logging a grow of LemChem.

5 LemChem were put in paper towels ~ 7 days ago. All cracked & showed tails after ~24-36 hrs, and then went into straight coco. All popped out a couple days ago.

These will be vegged under a 400W MH and flowered under a 600W HPS, all in coco. All done on ebb & flow tables. Veg will last ~50-55 days and flower till the end, guessing ~70 days.

Lemon Larry OG has always caught my eye, read some amazing reviews, and adding Chem D can't hurt either, . Pretty excited for this one.

Nutes used will be Cutting Edge Micro/Bloom, little Cal-Mag, Koolbloom (liquid & powder), an enzyme (likely Multizyme), Roots Excel (in veg/very early flower), and Floralicious Plus. Might hand feed some Bountea Bloom tea in flower if I'm really feeling freaky.

5 LemChem

Everybody - (24/24) LemChem, Sour Diesel IBL, Snowdog x ChemSour, Double Strawberry Diesel V2, and Limon IX.

That's all for now, thanks for stopping by!

Looking happy and pretty uniform.

Photo update. Here are the LemChem @ day 18 of veg. Currently feeding @ ~400ppm (0.5 scale) @ pH 5.8-5.9. All were topped and appear to have nice vigor.

Here we are @ 42 days post seeds sprouting. Roughly 2 more weeks veg till space opens up to flower these girls.

4/5 female LemChem

From the whole seed run - 17 females / 24 seeds, ~ 70% females. I'm pretty happy with those #'s, few more girls than I expected.....certainly never a bad thing,

Currently @pH -5.7-5.8 and ppm @680-710. The whole veg space stinks of skunk, should have some interesting smells in flower.

UPDATE

Day 30 of flower for these girls. Started boosting them a bit, seem to be enjoying it. Things got a little rough, but doing ok now. pH-5.9-6.0, ppm ~700-720

Need to mention this, some plants put out a couple balls/nanners along their main stem about a week ago. 1 of 2 SD IBL, 1 of 2 Snowdog x ChemSour, 2 of 3 Limon IX, 3 of 5 DSD V2, and 1 of 2 LemChem. Only 1-3 were found on each, simply plucked, and haven't come back.

NOW, need to mention WHY they did this
. I've been rather busy recently, with a harvest even more so, and forgot to check on these girls for a whole week. They stretched a few more inches over that time and I immediately noticed the reservoir level dropped ~ 1/2. Knew things couldn't be good there. pH had taken a drop to ~4.9-5.0 and they had been fed ~2x at that.

Again, fed @ a pH -4.9 I'm SHOCKED they didn't freak out more. Some would be upset with this slight isssue, but it was 100% my fault. Light flush, pH corrected feed, and we're good to go. It was a decent mistake on my part, hopefully yield/quality aren't effected too poorly. Lesson to anyone unfamiliar with Chem/Sour genetics, stress em out and you'll get some male bits. Got my eye back on the ball, things should be fine from here on out.

Checked each plant very heavily today, not a single male flower anywhere on any plants. Goes to show, keep your environment in check and things usually go well.

Both LemChem are starting to really stink. I'm getting a rotten, nasty, lemon-pinesol odor from both. . Never ran any Chem D hybrids before, definitely noticing the rank, putrid smell I've heard so much about. Rather frosty too.

#2 - My fav of the two so far

All for now,

Little update: day 44 flower.

Unfortunately, there has been some accidental pollination. Several days ago, a couple seeds were noticed on a few Double Strawberry Diesel V2's. After closer inspection, all DSD V2, both Snowdog x ChemSour, 2 Limon, both Sour D IBL, both Lem Chem, and 1 OG have been seeded. Most (both SD IBL, both Limon, OG, 1 Snowdog x ChemSour, both LemChem, and 1-2 DSD V2) aren't heavily seeded (~2-10 each), however a couple DSD V2 (~20-50 seeds each) and 1 Snowdog x ChemSours (~40 seeds) got it worse. Total seed count seems to be ~100-200, but won't really know till chop. Based off positions, it seems like the pollen donor/s were the DSD V2. The entire garden did have pH/E.C. stress ~ around day 23, very likely the entire cause of this issue.

Besides that, all is going well. They all received their 2nd feed of fungal ATC and are starting to really pump out production.

Both LemChem are looking good, but #2 is my keeper ATM. Super frosty, incredibly dense & hard flowers, and smells like rotten garbage.....
