Well we had a Michigan vs Maine thread that IMO was an interesting read.

Let's Michigan vs Colorado. I'll start with my experiences:

Michigan pros/cons:
very cheap cost of living
newish market
On average, 20-30% price higher for wholesale crops
can dispense to dispensaries. making a living as a noob is therefore much easier
fishing is better if you're into that sort of thing

Colorado Pros/cons:
market is damn near flooded
20-30% less per pound wholesaling
can't deal with the clubs. gotta meet people.
wayyyyy better weather than Michigan. Much different kind of cold, way more sun particularly in the winter.
way higher cost of living, particularly real estate
much more beatiful IMHO
fishing blows if you're not into fly fishing
generally more educated/interesting/traveled/weird people from all ways of life.

michigan is half way hostile and we have a new governer which is the heir to dupont textiles... the market is also flooded anywhere that there dispensaries.... were down to 300 tops when i used to be able to get 400 most people get 250 a zip tops...i guess thats ok... but the market has plumeted with all the out door cali and michigan has NO jobs so EVERYONE and there MOM now grows.... and its not slowing down... we also havnt ggot these laws in stone yet... im sure there will be some tug of war going on here soon...

Good point. Republican majority usually spells trouble, and you guys have one. Future is much more uncertain in Michigan.

Unless you're the type of fella who does his business under the radar and doesn't give two shits about dispensaries.

Damn I don't even hear about 400 per zip in the illegal states, even if its the triple kush double platinum haze.

the market is flooded i guess but if you got good smoke it will vanish like a ninja for a decent price and you can bring in extra meds to the shops but thats all who you know i guess.. bs
