Light dep greenhouse blackout material

hi,

does anyone know of an affordable material i can use for greenhouse blackout? the greenhouse specific ones from foreverflowering are too expensive for me and the farmtek kind i suspect is just regular 6mil plastic. is there anything specific anyone can reccomend that works for light depping ?

anything works.
it doesnt have to be fancy material
as long as it blacks the inside of the g/house out. your good.
dont stress the material too much.
buy some cheap black sheets.

I used DuraTarp's Super Heavy Duty Silver/White poly tarp last year (the 20x24 size) and will re-use them again this year. They are 20 mil woven, heavy and seriously block light.

Don't forget to set up a fan to keep the humidity down. We just did a simple 12v fan, car battery, solar panel and a couple u-bends of ducting.

good luck!
