I hope so, I hate to see people being negative for no reason.
Ooooooh, ST Bx3, JPJ Bx1.5, and more Maple Jelly, too? What a great line up.

As promised...the photo update! Maybe this will silence the hater who keeps one starring the thread.
![]() Recall these plants were recently transplanted and before that had pH issues so lower growth might not look all that healthy. group shot limon#1 (notice yellow tips, is this nute burn?) most vigorous Sour Thai group shot (limon#2 back left corner; limon#1 raised, in the middle; the rest are Sour Thai) This pic shows my vert PLL set up. There are three lights mounted to a hinge which allows them to swing out like a door for access to plants in the back of the cab. There are also two lights above that are mounted in the usual way (horizontally). So far I am liking my setup alot. However, I think it'll be more effective when I start running clones-but thats probably the story for most peoples setups. More photos in my album if you wanna check them out! -KC |

Zep-I feed 1/2 teaspoon per gallon of floranova grow, which has a 7-4-10 NPK ratio, pHed to ~6.0; this is at 50% what is recommended by GH. I know some say certain plants can handle more than this when using the hempy method so I am thinking about uping the nutrients. I guess I am hesitant b/c some plants have yellow tips, with yellowish new growth and idk if its nute burn or what it is (maybe some deficiency?).
However, the plant doesn't seem to have that dark green look that over fed plants tend to have and this is why I'm thinking about giving them more nutes. Anyways, feel free to make any comments/suggestions. |

damn i just typed up a response to this, then closed my browser accidentally before posting it......then i posted it in the wrong thread..... i'll try again.....
Are you using just perlite in those hempys or coco too? Either way, when i ran hempys, i fed full strength nutes with every watering every day.The yellowing of the tips i suspect came from the little bit of lockout you had when your ph was out of whack or you let the pot get too dry. Letting them get too dry causes all kinds of bad things to happen. They look more hungry than burnt to me. But yeah, since hempys don't hold any nutes in the medium, they can be fed every time at full strength. When the plants get bigger, you'll be feeding them more than once a day. When i used hempys or coco, i always treated it more like a hydro set up than a soil set up. Think of feeding them as topping off the res without all the confusing add back amounts.

Hey Pete, thanks for the advice. I'm pretty sure it's spot on, cause I pH tested the runoff last night and it was around 6.8. Since my nutes bring the pH down, I'm assuming the plants are eating the nutes which is causing the pH of the solution in the buckets to rise. So even though I am controlling the pH of the solution I feed them, it is still a pH problem.
Last night I fed them at 100% (1 Tsp/ gallon), and I plan to top them off more often now as suggested. This should limit the pH fluctuation to be in a more acceptable zone. Thanks for the advice, it will be rewarded with sweet bud shots when I make it to the finish line! |

Update:
Since changing the feeding regimen the leaves are taking on a darker green color and they are now perky and pointing up to the lights! I've noticed a huge improvement so far and that one real shotty looking sour thai in the front of the cab is also healing. Thanks again guys, -KC |

Karma, first off whoever the dick is who is one starring this - bite me.
![]() I just gave you a five star to get it back to where it should be. Pete has you covered. The Floranova products are good stuff, and I would feed those babies full strenght with it. Only reason I don't still use it is I grow in E&F tables and the FN products stain everything and is a pain to clean. Switched to Maxibloom and am loving it. ![]() Good to hear the babies are getting good and green and perking up after you dosed em up with the food. ![]() Look forward to more updates.
