Limon IX and Sour Thai Bx1 - Swan Song Seeds - International Cannagraphic Magazine Forums

This is my first indoor grow, so enter with caution...

So far I have 5 Sour Thai Bx1's and 2 Limons that are about 2.5 weeks old. I got 5/5 of the Sour Thai to pop and 2/5 of the Limons to pop using paper towel method. They are currently in solo cup hempy buckets and are about 6-8 inches tall.

Cab details- will be using 255 watt PLL with S&P 100X fan for ventilation. Right now the canopy temp is hovering around
78 deg F with filter.

Flower room dimensions: 16"W x 27.5"L x 32"H

Nice! Hempys are a great way to start off. They'll let you get the hang of watering/feeding without the risk of too much error.
I would recommend investing in odor control of some kind, both strains you're running are gonna stink.

PistilPete -Yea I hear ya, I already got a Phresh filter hooked up. The plants already smell! I figured any strain crossed to DSD would be a stinker.

As for the hempys... they were working out fine for a few weeks, then they started to have problems. I figured I'd buy one of those pH test kits and it turns out I was feedin my plants acid! Shit was somewhere around 5.0. They say pH doesn't matter in hempy - don't believe this. I even use GH floranova nutrients (supposedly pH balanced) with distilled water. O well, the problem is now fixed and the new growth looks nice.

I'm geeked Karma... a fresh batch of Limon should take care of any 'off' germination rates, this summer at the Bay. Until then, let's see about picking a delicious cut.

Update: Today is transplant day! I found some nice one gallon water jugs at the dollar store that will make perfect hempy buckets for my setup- plus my ladies will enjoy the spring water while it lasts.

They are recovering from earlier pH problems nicely and, after some LST, they should be ready for flower in a week or two.

Zep-I'm a huge fan of citrus flavors and would like to see ten packs of limon this summer if possible. Tried to pick up two 5-packs on the last drop but my trigger finger wasn't quick enough! What other strains will be released in the summer drop?

pics will come at the end of this week for sure.
