reflector glass
Are the lenses for say 250w Sunbursts anything special? Or can i just run to the local you-do-it and get some single pane?
When i look at pictures of it online and such it just looks like single pane to me...

Would it be cheaper? I checked at work and i couldnt get any tempered, but if i can get it local for like $10, that'd be sweet.

The local glass shop/ window makers sell them for $10 which is a steal imo. Tempered glass is a must and the glass shop will have to cut it for you. Dont try to cut it after its been tempered!
Just be sure to measure your hood dimensions correctly the first time. whoops
