Limon IX - Swan Song Seeds - International Cannagraphic Magazine Forums

I popped 5 Limon IX into a paper towel 72 hours ago. As of tonight, 4/5 cracked and all were put into 1" RW cubes. They are currently under a few shop lights and will be flowered under 440w of PL-L after an extensive Veg and LST. I will be getting pictures loaded when they start to pop! Hopefully in a few days I will have something to show!!!

Edit: Here are a few specs on my cab and equipment

Cab Dimensions 48"W x 24"D x 36"H
440w of PL-L (8-55w PL-L w/ 2 Fulham Workhorse 8 ballasts)
S&P TD-125 fan
Using 1" RW Cube > 16oz Solo cup > 4" square pot > 1 gallon pot > 3 gallon Air pot ---ALL IN COCO/PERLITE MIX
Nutes: Use a variety of nutes right now, will be investing in the Canna Coco line shortly

nice man, can't wait to see how they turn out. I have two Limons goin myself that are about 2 wks old (only got 2/5 to pop, but I'm a noob).

Hopefully we'll both have good luck finding some ladies!

Milhouse - Nice nice nice. Looking forward to seeing some Limon goodness. I think i'll have to grab some Limon if they drop again.

karmaceutical - Awesome! Too bad about the 3 that didn't pop. They are plenty of good people here in this section that will be more than happy to help out a new grower with any tips. Any questions? Just ask and we'll try our best to help you out.

Karmaceutical - That sucks about the 3 that didnt pop! i had issues when i first started popping seeds, like Pistil said, it you are curious about any process of the grow, just post some questions and there are a ton of extremely intelligent people on these forums that will help you! My past and current grow would not have been nearly as successful if successful at all if it werent for the help around ICMAG. I cant wait to see the two you got goin!! I am hoping you will be starting a journal also!!!

Hey PistilPete! Hows it going! I have been following your grow here for a few weeks! Your plants look beautiful!! I know I will be posting plenty of questions on here regarding these plants! I really dont want to screw these up! I am just finishing DG Magenta99 so i am very interested to compare the PCK traits! I am even debating on doing a little pollen chucking in the future with these two strains, def be some interesting gems in the mix!

Just wanted to drop by and say good luck with your Limon grow. Got to get a pack of these when Zep does the next version ( or these if there is a relist).

I have keep an eye on your Magenta99 grow, good job.

And thanks again for the tip on finding the PCK. Got a pack on ice waiting for time and space to get em going.

Ambertrich - Hows it going Amber! Thank you for the kind words!! I am very excited about these Limon IX, I have never grown a Sour D hybrid before! The Magenta was/is a fun strain, I am harvesting that tonight!! WOOHOO!! Running that strain is a contributing factor to why i started these! I am very interested in the PCK strain also!

AugustWest - Thanks August! I am checking the RW cubes every3 hours when i am home, hoping they pop up!! I anticipate by the end of the weekend, all will be above soil. I think i see a few trying to push...The cab works for me, there has been alot of tweaking along the way! I just scored a new cab on craigslist that I am trying to decide what to do with, New veg? New flower? Addl flower? Who knows!!! Anyways, thanks for stopping in and I hope to show this strain some justice!!!

Milhouse- Just checked out your magenta 99 thread and it looks like you found yourself a beauty. I'm interested to see if you see any similarities with the Limon in the growth/bud structure since they both are from PCK lineage. Keep up the nice work!

90% germ rate? I'm sorry to hear of the unfortunate and we can do better... we will. Limon has germ-tested very well in the past so I'm not going into recall mode quite yet but getting the seeds to market in top condition is a major priority to me.

hey guys, wanted to let everyone know that i burnt the fuck out of my hand sat morning cooking bfast. thank god i had a fire extinguisher, it saved my house and my life. i wont be able to do much updating for a while, taking about 20 min to type this since i have two fingers that werent touched. once my hands are back, i will be shownig some updates.
