Greetings folks.....Got a couple of Blue Sats, 16 days into 12/12. One is a shorter pheno, virtually no branching. The other is taller with branching. Both are cracking looking plants from freebie seeds.

Small pheno

Tall pheno

I've taken cuttings off both plants.

Dude, nice looking little plants. I am gonna tell you right now that tall pheno with the purple leaf petioles is definitely a Sweet Tooth pheno it looks just like it and that should be some fantastic happy kind fruity herb!

What does the stem smell like if you rub it, is it like citric like a grapefruit rind? Just wondering.

Nice grow will keep track of this one!

Alrite SOTF420.......Been trying to figure out what the smell was. Yes, grapefruit rind....spot on mate. What length flowering time you reckon?

Likely 8 weeks, lucky Dog!

That pheno looks JUST like pure Swt which makes sense because F2's (the Blue Sat 2.2 is the F2 of Blue Sat 2) can really lean one way or another sometimes and this strain is a Sweet Tooth crossed with Blueberry sativa.

Buy yeah, thats the smell man.

Looking awesome so far RudeDog. Im gonna enjoy watching this grow.

I grow in organic soil using various seed meals, etc, normally water only with a few teas when needed. Such an easy way to grow

Ive been wanting to try Blue Sat for a long time.

Thanks for dropping by George......I use compost with perlite, blood, bone & fish meal added with dolomite lime. For final pot up I add high P guano to the mix. Like you say, easy. I also make up brews for boost in flower, the taller plant had feed last night.

Just wondering how "sativa" the BB sativa used here was? I'd like to find a distictively BB sativa pheno and cross it to Flo (if the BB in BS 2.2 is sativa enough).

I also recommend you to keep the darker one with purple petioles... I did have a NL#5 x BB that took after the BB and it was a nice mango/grapefruit berry smelling gal with a sublime relaxing high.
