Lemon Stinky
Some Lemon Stinky F1's have hit the dirt. Got them in 07 and still 100% on the germ rate. I hope to get 50/50 male/female so i can hunt through some F2's.
I have previously grown Lemon Stinky while i had a lot going on in life so the plants were neglected and it was just a poor grow effort. I remember the smoke being awsome! A great med strain for broken down old bodies like mine lol. If you just like being knocked on your ass and not being able to get off the lounge for a few hours then this stuff is for you! Here they are after being topped. Will FIM the two new tops ASAP and trim off the top two fans. I have not decided where to go from there so i will wait and see how the plants respond. |

Welcome Kcar. It wont be a huge bud show here though i'm 100% sure this strain can produce some monster colas. Maybe i can capture some images of that in later grows.
I will just stick to the original plan. Which is to quickly flower them and make some seeds. Topped at the 3rd node. 1 week recovery. Then FIM the two new tops and trim fans. All this while under a tiny little fish tank fluro. 2x18w 1 week recovery then repot from the tiny pots into a simple potting mix with some blood & bone & potash. Plain water feeding all the way with maybe a PK boost week 5/6. Thats pretty much it. Plain and simple gardening for a quick harvest of seeds...

Gday Smurf, glad you found the thread. Its well hidden away.
I agree about the KISS method its so easy. In fact i like it so much i didnt even add any blood n bone n potash to the dirt lol. Well here we go. Not one to fuck around i FIMed the top two & trimed the top two fans off. Repotted into some fresh dirt and its insta-flower time. Tonight will be the 1st 12/12 so i guess tomorrow is day 1 flower. The plants are immature & no sign of pre flowers so its like a 12/12 from seed grow. I will have to add an extra week flower time. The poor plants get no recovery time because i'm in a bit of a rush. I have so many old seeds in the fridge that are pretty old. I just want grow and F2 them all so i have some fresh beans to store. The topping and fimming is just to avoid mold/bud rot. These ladies will grow nice and fat even 12/12 from seed. Took a couple of shots so the thread isnt too boring. First is some roots searching for nutrients. Thats just some old recycled dirt they were started in. Its pretty dead. Second is the tribes new home in fresh dirt. Will try to keep the pictures updated weekly. Enjoy  |

There comming on nicly jwp.I've got about 20 differant landrace strains that i've collected over the years and some are over 10 years old so i need to get around to inbreeding them before they get even older so i've got fresher stock,but nowadays i'm limited to how many plants i can grow cause i got busted by the local housing asociation who own my flat,luckly
they didn't get the police involved.

marijuanamat, 10 years goes by so fast. These LS seeds are close to 5yo. Where the hell did 5 years just go?
So they busted you and didnt get the police involed. Doesnt sound too bad. And they allow you to grow some? For a while i was even contemplating doing a CLF seed run. Thats something you may have to do. Good luck, keep the genes alive. Lemon Stinky |

Its been a week. I can see pistils on 3 and 3 unconfirmed but lets just assume they are males even though they are still a lil immature to be sure. Its been 12/12 for a week but in my mind today is the "official" first day of flower. 1 month since the beans got wet.
Top 3 male bottom 3 female with extra pics of the girls. I'm keeping my eye on the lady in the black pot. She had 4 nodes by the time all the others had 3. She is also the fastest to have roots come out of the new pot and has the most roots coming out the drainage holes.  |
