Hola FireofKali
I wrote this for some ppl asking, let me copy/paste "Jarilla, a Cola de Borrego is a local sativa line kept there for years in my friends hands and used for their sales for long. Its a quick line for what it is, showing a sativa profile and so lemony scented one. Still belongs to classics despite having a quick flowering time of 11-12 weeks.. delicate plant, quite estable although you can find sometimes with cold purple colorations in leafes as they did in my climate. They have ben tested here with nice results. Great mold resistance I havent got mold or deseaes at all. Ive been keeping a clone as well and not hermi behaviour although line can give also few hermis how not in mexicans, they are grown massivally and is hard to cull and erradicate all hermis...present grow of a different local line use around 6-7000 plants. Sinaloa farmers grow there since middle 60's. Sinaloa is a growing state where many different lines are been grown and kept, from a farmer to another farmer lines can differ a lot. Some locals used to get seeds or from own families or even travelled to other Mexicans states like Michoacan to buy seeds so there is not a definition of local line right now really. New grows and new lines there, due military presence and narco pressure tend to be faster and with more idica presence, thus northern Chihuahua is full now of potent lines indeed lbut more narcotic...this is being extended in many areas...some old lines used to finish in december january..new lines are getting faster and present broader leafes right now Jarilla is still in the middle, nice up, nice flavoured, if too matured can give a more mellow effect. Friends there say all lines from sierras are potent. Some ppl there love to breed them well in fact and can pay attention to traits like potencies and good sex results and so and can export their seed sacks to other mexicans areas as well. In other cases, is US citizens who buy the weeds, get a airplane there when is ready and flight them back to states. Its a rich state for weed in this sense of multiple lines. Some locals know how to breed and select and care well of their lines..some others act just like farmers but fact many are good weed smokers make them often care a bit of their lines This is a CBG "fair commerce" small and discret release. If experience is succesfull with them with the time is my hope and wish to get more mexicans lines form such area, some older lines and some new lines. Let see what future deserves" If comparing Jarilla maybe I will thing about michoacan Verde Limon (local name) due scents and flowering times, bit faster maybe. My friends from the mountains say many locals are leaving their lands now...and their seeds too. In general you can find greens, purples, red weeds (mota canela or cinammon weed) or even weeds with red hairs. New lines do much quicker and show broader leafes. Soon to try some more, Hope am able to explain better in future if time and energies allow. Best kaiki First 3 pics are Jarilla, other pics were taken by local farmer who help us in the research. They grow here like "tapada style" (hidden) under the trees and around 6-700 plants are grown in the pics. Water is taken digging in the rocks for water underground extraction. So hard job for very few hands Last edited by charlie garcia; 03-19-2011 at 05:05 PM.. |

Leafes are medium/thin, half way between old sativas of december/january and new lines. Sativa branchy structure shows still in a cross with another modern and broader while strong mexican we are testing as well. Another old long local Sinaloan line will be germing soon. You can still find too some old michoacans brougth there as well Such field was harvested short ago Dubi, around 7 thousand plants, they grew more modern lines, quicker and better yielders due pressure of being catched or killed or whatever, sadly life worths a shit in such area best everyone |
