Hi Guys,

First off I'd like to say that I'm personally very sad about the Cup being cancelled. However, I completely agree and support Gypsy's decision 100%.

This thread is for the guys that have already made arrangements and are planning on coming to Amsterdam regardless.

It is the policy of ICMAG to do everything we can to refund everyone's money in a very timely manner (as Gypsy mentioned, PM me and I will help arrange a refund).

Furthermore, it is our policy to do whatever we can to reach out to the people that have already made their bookings and do what we can to provide everyone with an enjoyable experience, after all, we're still going to be in Amsterdam

With that said, my initial thinking was to hold an informal gathering at a coffee shop of our choosing. ICMAG will cover all expenses for judge's pass holders during our informal gathering...We will also make arrangements to provide food and drink, or possibly take everyone out to dinner somewhere nice instead.

I was hoping we could use this thread as a way of bouncing around ideas for things we could do together while in the Dam for those that are still coming.

I will personally fly down there and do my best to organize something for all, but of course it will be within the scope of an informal gathering, and any cannabis consumption will be done totally legally, inside a coffee shop in accordance and full legal compliance with Dutch laws.

Please let me know what you guys think, and feel free to bounce around ideas in this thread, we still have a month to organize something, so all is not lost yet.

So can we just have the cup as it was going to be but without the actual cup bit? I mean the things that were supposed to be getting organised could still go ahead?

I'll still be there hope most folks will make the trip out regardless

I think we should do, some good Smoke Reports on all we get to smoke at the get togethers,

So lets just test everything around and shared.

Only importand thing is the locations, and rough times.

We can meet, organize ourselves, arrange tours and other events in Amsterdam and of course we can go to any coffee shop and enjoy a good smoke.

However, ICMAG CANNOT accept submissions, hand out judge's packs, or have an awards ceremony. The information we have received has led us to believe that is simply not going to be safe for people participating in the Cup.

I'm sorry, but sadly I cannot elaborate on it any more at this time.

My hope is that this thread can help us figure out an alternative that I would be more than happy to personally organize and personally attend. I will do my best to try and make it up to those that have already booked their flights as best I can.

Any and all suggestions are welcome in this thread and will be considered, but please remember this is now an informal gathering and any and all cannabis consumption must be done strictly in full compliance and accordance with Dutch law.

Well I am bummed but life goes on.

I am still going to be their and look forward to anything that IC can come up with, I sent a message about the tickets but I cant pm.

I see it more as a celebration anyways! I was looking forward to talking to real people about growing and breeding.
