I recently purchased a pack of taskenti from another very big seed bank not seed boo, but could these also be from the bad lot? Got them from the UK in the beginning of march. Also got some PCK Fem seeds from the boo that haven't shown up yet since my order on the 25 of feb. Exited anyways, and I hope nothing but the best of results. Thanks

Wow, that is amazing! The tops of colas are a nice color and look like they couldn;t decide whether to turn pure purple or pure white with frost, so it tried to do both frost fighting it out with the purple. That is a taskenti cross, huh? was the male the taskenti or the female?

Spectacular pics Esbe, thx for sharing, remember them
Like it happens with PCK, this Uzbekistan hybrid has a nice resistance too but is bit slower than Pakistan line and needs a bit to start showing hairs, then all goes very quick. Lots of lines from the land present this nice resitance and low maintainance behaviour, often dont require such a a strong nutrients ratio to perform well but can accept it somehow up to a certain level. Taskenti better than PCK or Sandstorm maybe. Nevertheless as I never push them too hard I may ignore their limits
Thx for sharing Esbe,
take care

Portrait of Taskenti as a Young Flowering Plant

Just thought I'd bump up this strain with a quick status report. The plant is small but absolutely beautiful. She's small due to my manipulations - basically kept the plants in small pots as my original thought was to grow out the clones and to keep the originals as moms. Well, the clones turned out great but I decided to go ahead and flower the originals at any rate because they were so beautiful. Also, I just revamped my room with a 1K light (if I'm going to do Ace and Cannabiogen sativas then, well, I best do 'em right) and I wanted to get a sense of space, etc. in the new room.

So...here she is...at about 27 days of flowering. The pic doesn't do her justice as the buds under the cascade of leaves are already thick and heavy almost down to the base. I will keep this updated.

Here she is - she's in the corner, flanked by a Bangi Haze (also in flower for 27 or so days) and a Bangi Haze clone dwelling in coco (black bucket on riser) - yes, I'm making the transition to coco.

Not to make excuses but the photos' colors are also a bit off as I was experimenting with light settings on the camera. She's actually much greener than the photos indicate and very lovely. All of the plants have had some strange pH poltergeists so there has been some yellowing of leaves although the Taskenti was the least affected. At this point, does not seem to be affecting the flowering AND I may have ID'd the culprit so the coloring seems to be getting better.

I may do a very discrete trim of some leaves. The air-flow in the room is great but she looks like she's gonna be one huge thick cola and I want to make sure that air penetrates the fan-leaf layer.

For the logistic minded...she's being grown in a 10 liter bucket with Pure Blend Pro, Liquid Karma - and a splash of Cal/Mag and Bloombastic.
