CARIBE

A first rate backcross (Jamaica x Jamaica/NL5/Haze) between our best female from the Blue Mountains in Jamaica and a champion NL/Haze bring us a great yielding sativa that can be grown indoors. Yield and quality are complemented by its resistancy to plagues, especially those brought about by humid climates.

Time seems to stop as the senses sharpen, this sativa hybrid is a gem sativa lovers love to own.

Shortening the light period incrementally from 12 to 8 hours in the last 2 weeks is best to augment resin production and to avoid typical sativa reflowering.

Vegetative period: Minimum 30 days for high performance.

Not much really, they do quite well and easy growing. Like most of our lines, they dont ask for much and have nice resistance to different conditions like moist places

Caribe

I grew this strain outdoors at N39 degrees latitude about 7 years ago. I grew a couple other strains that year, Super Silver Haze from Mr. Nice, American Dream from Sensi, Guerrilla's Gusto from Sensi, Sour Kali from Reservoir, and these Caribe from Cannabiogen. All were regular (no fem) seeds.
During the grow, Caribe were very easy, very comfortable being outside the whole time taking anything mother nature threw them. Little variation; I had two girls in the same hole that I called 'The Twins" they were so identical in growth and flower time. The Caribe grew into some nice 7' bush's, with long sticky cola's. I only had one bud of Caribe that I found mold in, these being the most mold resistant out of the crop. They were absolutely beautiful plants.
But the high is where this plant shines. It's my favorite smoke that I can remember, going back about 10 years. Really happy, creative, joyful, inspiring, fun. NO couch-lock, no real tolerance build up, and no real ceiling to the high. You could smoke 5-6 joints a day and not be so tired that you don't want to move around anymore. The taste makes you want to smoke 50 joints a day. Really floral/fruity, nothing skunky or dead smelling/tasting. I just found out that Cannabiogen released some pure Jamaican Blue Mountain, the building block for this strain, and I had to pick some up for prosperity's sake. I am now back in a place that is conducive to growing outdoors, and will have to pick some of these Caribe up again too.

Very interesting, Mephisto...I grow indoors but I'm not too particularly scared by sativa plants in terms of growth. It's the length of the grow that makes it difficult. In this case its the possibility of revegging. I have a pack of the seeds but I am not in a position to adjust the hours of light from 12/12 to keep it concentrated on finishing. Best of luck!

Indoors, I can only suggest using orgaic soil so as to harness as much of the strains terpene potential as possible. They finished the 3rd week of Oct at 39N. Yield was medium/good, no need to stake plants as they are strong growers, no real mold issues. Was very happy with this strain and would/will grow again.
