I noticed that lesotho is pretty close to durban on the map. Is there any relation between the two strains?

The Lesotho growers have a completely different environment to Durban.
Lesotho shares the Drakensberg mountain range with Kwazulu Natal. This is a zone of 2000-3000 meter above sea level. The weather is harsh. Strong winds with frost and snow during winter and hot days during summer with cold nights. Mostly dry climate. Durban is on the coast line and more sub tropical. Mild temps from 10-30C during winter and 18-45C during summer. Cannabis in Lesotho is a short stature and fast flowering sativa type with dense spear buds from my experience. There are a range of types as there are a lot of different areas that grow in Lesotho. If you stay in a local dormitory or go for a "Pony Trek" in the mountains (tourist stuff) it is not unlikely that you will come across fields and fields of cannabis. Leshaze has been on my list for years. I need to do it this year! |
